Last winter we had a blast at the Richmond Craft Mafia’s Handmade Holiday fair (and later gave away some of our favorite finds). And when we caught wind of their Spring Bada-Bing event happening this Sunday we were all sorts of excited. So we worked with them to put together another craft-tastic, wholly-handmade, reeking-of-Richmond prize pack featuring some of the Craft Mafia’s most active members – and it totals over $350 in value! SPRING ME!! We live across the street from the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and walking through each morning on the way to work allows me to see all the beautiful changes – from quick blooming daffodils to the slow uncurling of tree leaves.

SPRING ME! I love love love everything about Spring! It is my favorite season. I think my favorite thing is to see all of the flowers blooming and leaves sprouting, though. You can see a change outside every day, which is great.

The best parts of Spring this year have been: finding out 3 days before my birthday we’re pregnant (best birthday present ever!!!) and long runs in the woods (can anything be better than flying in sandals down rooty and sandy trails with eagles soaring above, under canopies of green trees, and the sounds of tiny rivers/streams/high tide, etc?).
PS Thank you for the cloth diaper report… I shared it with the hub and he was blown away at how much they have changed in 30 years since he was helping with little siblings. He’s sold on BumGenius and says to tell you all thanks, too!
