This next giveaway came to us as a nursery-themed giveaway, but personally we think Numsi‘s uniquely mod art is suitable for walls of any age. Their contemporary patterns (or custom text) is printed on canvas and then mounted on a 2″ deep birch museum frame to give it some modern dimension and bring some pop to you art collection.
Plus, since the deep birch plywood cradle makes these blocks of art so sturdy, they can hang on the wall, sit on a shelf or anchor your latest mantlescape. So have some fun browsing their collection of animals and vehicles or patterns and text, because one of you is taking away a $100 credit towards anything on Numsi’s site this week (and the rest of you are taking away a sweet discount).
Here’s how to enter this week:

If I’m having a creative block, trying to keep working just makes it worse. I generally like to go take a walk, or cook something to try to get past it.
I usually clean! A tidy house helps bring everything into order for me. (also helps me procrastinate just a teeny bit) =)
I look through blogs or HGTV.com…and search for inspiration (i also walk away from my desk and find some chocolate too ;) )
I usually go for a walk or do something else that has nothing in common with my actual task – inspiration is everywhere and the best ideas usually pop up totally unexpected!
I was a journalist in my previous career, so I had plenty of writer’s block. I found that getting away from the project by going for a run, short hike or walking my dog helped. Also, I’d look to journalism sites that had examples of good articles for inspiration or to get me motivated. So, in short – look to what inspires you.
Looking at the view over fields from my bedroom window gives me inspiration.
Internet trawling usually finds me some inspiration- try http://www.stumbleupon.com – quite funny the things it randomly finds for you in any subject matter you choose.

To get over a productivity block, I actually just do something else. Oddly enough, when I get involved in another activity the thing I was stumped on just comes to me!
a nap relieves creative block- if I am not thinking well, it’s often because I am too tired
Caffiene is my friend…coffee, pop, etc. It always helps get me going!
Block me! I get my best ideas in the shower!

Block me! I usually start tidying or cleaning around the house. That usually helps.
#1 thing I do when I have a creative block…STEP AWAY from the project and focus on something else. The mental block usually just means that I need a break!
I love love love to just waltz around the craft store, home improvement store, or even just a thrift shop to give me LOTS of fun ideas!
Block Me…please :)
Going for a nice long walk always helps me.
Well, before becoming eco-conscious, I used to go for long drives. Now, I just walk.
I usually go online and find inspiration to keep going.
I find going for a walk and not thinking about it clears my mind and makes me more receptive to the solution.
When I get to that point I just have to put it down and go for a walk. It always helps!
I go for a run or bake something and that helps clear my head so I can focus.
I have to say my ideas out loud to another person. Then I’m usually unstuck. Otherwise, I just go find some chocolate. It may not unblock my brain, but at least I’m happier about it!
Who has time to write with two little kids in the house? Not me!

I’m not really a writer, but when I need inspiration for my sewing, I always watch Much Ado about Nothing. I love the crisp white gowns they wear and it always leaves me feeling happy and wanting to create.
