So we jumped at Epson’s offer to give away one of their most versatile new models – the $499 Epson Stylus Photo R2000. It’s built for creative types, not just because its 8-ink process shoots out glossy archival prints in vivid color, but because it can print on all sorts of materials – like directly on the front of a CD, a sheet of 12″ x 12″ craft paper, or even a 44″ long roll of canvas. I would adore a printer that popped out puppies! My first print jobs would be for a puppy miniature dachshund and next would be a puppy chihuahua :) I have a 9 year old doxie, Matilda, who I adopted when she was 3 and my chihuahua, Romeo, is almost 13.

I’m a designer, and this might be strange- but this printer kind of IS my fantasy printer in that I’ve wanted to start an etsy shop with some of my prints for a long time now, but have wanted to be capable of printing them at home myself so that I can monitor color and quality. But if I force myself to think about a truly magical machine- I guess I’d love it if it could print furniture finishes that adhere directly onto the furniture without a single error. That would make the projects me and my husband tackle every month SO much easier!
