After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME, please!!!!
I bring color by rotating the linens with the seasons/holidays. I would LOVE the aqua single sink – that would be an awesome pop in my vintage 50’s kitchen!!
Amy Harris says
ADLER ME! I painted our kitchen chairs yellow and brought in yellow accessories.

ADLER ME!
My kitchen is white with apple green accents–my teapot, kitchenaid mixer, and various other knick knacks are all apple green. A fun, colored sink would really be the cherry on top!
Staci S says
ADLER ME!
Our kitchen is painted a cafe latte brown, with grey/black countertops that we did ourselves with epoxy grout (a lot of time, dust, and sanding). However, the decorations are completely Spanish style, bright colored jars, towels, etc. A colorful sink would fit perfectly in our kitchen!
Amber says
ADLER ME!!! Right now, the most color in our (rent house) kitchen is the ugly yellow on the walls. We are building a house and would love to have a cool sink!
Karla Gutierrez-Pugh says
Adler me –
we desperately need color on our walls period!!
Steph says
ADLER ME! When we moved in our kitchen was a nursery-like baby yellow. After an unfortunate leak from the roof, causing a stain on the wall, we’re re-painting the kitchen a lime green (exactly the color of a lime!)

Currently, I’m not bringing color into my kitchen, which is why I need to win this! :)

I love the colors and I use plates for the color pop in my kitchen. Changing when the seasons change. Hope I am the one for new look.
Thank you.

Would love to have a more modern look in my kitchen. Love those colors!!!!!!!
Jaclyn says
Adler me! Our kitchen is white and blue, I love anything blue! Most of the shirts in my closet are some shade of blue so a blue sink sounds great to me.

ADLER ME!!
My kitchen is RED!! Although, it was painted four years ago and I am getting a little tired of it now, looking to go for neutral walls with pops of colors instead! But still…RED!! *L*

My favorite splash of color in my kitchen is my BOSENBERRY Kitchenaid mixer!

Alder me!!!!!!!!!

ADLER ME! Our kitchen is painted apple green with touches of yellow in it. It makes me happy every time I go in there :)

ADLER ME!!!
Our kitchen is patiently waiting for its turn to get a makeover. With counters that are only 32″ high and brown, cream, mustard yellow and green having the loudest color argument we are looking forward to the colors having a conversation. The sink would be the perfect start of a new palette! Right now the only way we add color is flowers and dish towels, white only!!
Meg says
ADLER ME!
Color in the kitchen, hmmmm, maybe some crazy dish towels. Not much room for anything else.
Jennifer says
ADLER ME! We are moving into a new place really soon, but we plan to put up some valances that will inspire a color scheme that we can use throughout the kitchen and eating area. The walls are painted sage green and we will probably just keep that for awhile, so I want to do something that is bright to bring some light and color into the space.

Adler Me!! We chose the accessories in the kitchen to “pop” with nuetral walls.

ADLER ME!
Our Kitchen needs serious work. There is no color and so boring is how my daughter puts it. We do bring in flowers from our garden to put some color but not enough. Need a makeover like you guys did.
Casey says
ADLER ME!! Love colorful dish towels and bowls!
Sherrine says
Adler Me!
We definitely are in need of some color in our old farmhouse kitchen!
Linda says
ALDER ME! The color in my kitchen comes mostly from summer fruit these days. The room could really use a delightful new sink!
Sheryl says
ADLER ME! We need a total redo on the kitchen and this sink would be the perfect starter.
Melissa says
ADLER ME! We have the original pink laminate with the metal edge in our kitchen. A new sink would be a great excuse to get rid of it!
Blake says
ADLER ME!
Pops of color in our kitchen come from a teal color on the walls, dish towels, and a bowl of fruit on the kitchen table!
Connie says
Adler me! The only color in our grey outdated kitchen is in the hideous red tile floors and the curtains. We are getting ready to re-do the kitchen soon, so a colorful sink would be amazing!!
Ashlee says
ADLER ME! This is terrific!
Heather says
ADLER ME!
I love a neutral room with vibrant pops of color–this is exactly my style!

“ADLER ME!”
We have the colour combo that the previous owners decided on. I would go for even less colour and paint over the oak cabinets and replace the blue laminate. All in due time.
Thanks for the fabulous giveaway.

ADLER ME!!!! The bright colors in my kitchen and dining room come from my colorful hand molded R. Woods Pottery!!! I love it – blues oranges and yellows!
Katie says
ADLER ME!
Wow, these sinks are so fun! I actually use punches of bright green in my kitchen (fabric, a few dishes, and the occasional fresh flowers) so I’m thinking the “greenwich green” sink would be perfect!
Emily says
ADLER ME!! We are just moving into our new house so I’m doing chalkboard paint as my backsplash and painting our cabinets and countertops. Our countertops will done with speckle paint to achieve a granite look and our cabinets will be white with charcoal grey handles. We are having our new appliances delivered the day after we move it and we are so excited! We’ve never bought anything new (our old refridgerator was made in 1992, ugly as all get out, no ice machine and the lights didn’t work the entire time we had it but it was a trusty, old fridge that gave us 5 years of great refridgeration! :))
Hope you choose my family & I! We have a 15 month old and my husband is a police officer for our city. He is the hardest worker you’d ever meet so this would help us out so much!
Ann says
Adler me!
I don’t have much color in my kitchen, but this would definitely add a bright POP of color.
Kathy says
ADLER ME! My kitchen is already colorful with the original 1966 turquoise sink, oven and stovetop, but the sink is chipped and needs replacing. A Kohler Palermo Blue would be the perfect replacement. Thanks.
Morgen says
ADLER ME!
We just bought a mid century house with no kitchen and are in the process of getting one put in (we don’t have your mad skills…yet). We are bringing color in by getting a big chill fridge in beach blue (have wanted one of these for years, but why replace a perfectly good fridge) and one wall will be key lime colored tile. It will be so bright and happy!
Erica says
ALDER ME We have a new home and are currently living with Jean colored walls in the kitchen…yes that’s right. I said Jean..ugh!
Emma says
ADLER ME! I’m stuck with a 1950s kitchen at the moment but I bring color in with accessories. My floor is also wacko 70s Las Vegas laminate which brings in a lot of browns :-\
Joy says
Adler Me!
My kitchen is all about color! I have buttery yellow walls that pair beautifully with my “oiled soapstone” (or a laminate version) countertops and white open shelves. But the real star is my Azrock tile checkerboard floor in spearmint (an aqua-y green that matches my Martha Stewardt Blue mixer) and cirrus (a white tile with speckles of yellow and coral and spearmint). I absolutly love it!
Katherine says
ADLER ME!
I just LOVE the aqua sink. My kitchen is really dull (the husband and I are planning a major kitchen renovation). I can’t wait to add some color splashes. The sink would be a great place to start!
Desiree says
ADLER ME! (Please)
In our last home the walls were neutral, but I’d bring in punches of color with paintings I created, dish towels, and random splashes here and there. In our new home, however, we have an intimidating mix of beige, drab 80’s cabinetry and poor lighting. We could definitely use a dose of inspiration a-la Jonathan Adler.
Rena says
ADLER ME!
Green Flor carpet tiles liven up my kitchen. And chartreuse accents, yay!
Elizabeth B. says
Adler Me!
So excited. Our kitchen is all about the glass subway tile backsplash in a muted sea green… can not stop stroking it when I’m cooking and cleaning!
Tammy O'Neill says
ADLER ME! Love Jonathan Adler and love bright pops of color in my kitchen!
Tara says
ADLER ME!!!
I didn’t know they made sinks like that! We painted our kitchen a bright green that I love, but my mom said I would regret. Never have! Still love it.
Meghan says
ADLER ME! I just finally made a new curtain to hide the area under our sink… gray and white chevron. Trying to get around to repainting our RED kitchen yellow and white.
Michaela says
Adler Me!! I just recently did a plate wall with some funky plates I found and made in a very unorganized pattern.
