Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ALDER ME! I just bought my first home last September and I have been having so much fun using color after years of being in a colorless apartment! The kitchen still has the original cabinets from the 50’s and I can’t wait to tear them out! I think the Palmero Blue sink would look great with white cabinets and you would be able to see a glimpse of it from the living room…LOVE!

Adler me! I’m getting ready for a total reno of my kitchen so this would be awesome! Right now my kitchen is a variation of the green. So I’m thinking the aqua would look nice! This time though I’m thinking the color is going to come from my vintage pyrex in a colorful hutch!

    What an amazing giveaway!!!

We are brainstorming a kitchen renovation right now. I am considering glass tiles for the backsplash, which would bring in some color. Otherwise, the most colorful part of our kitchen is the gorgeous window above the sink that lets the colors of outdoors in. The backyard and the lively GREEN view always make me smile.

I’m still in the mental prep phase of redoing my kitchen, going shades of grey on the walls & cabinets. But I’ve purchased small pops of color for the room, the latest was a deep lime green owl vase for………..who knows what ;)

Please delete this message. Not for public consumption but I’ve been a loyal reader for a few years. Went through some yucky medical stuff this past winter and spring. Ended up at a neurologists office who happened to train at a hospital in Richmond. My husband couldn’t understand why I kept talking about Dr. Pieper having trained in Richmond until he realized that is where my favorite blog is from. It all turned out good but I wanted to tell you that I appreciate your light hearted, modest and fun blog. I look forward to every post.

ADLER ME! You might laugh, but I’m in the process of painting my walls the same grey color you have used in your living room! When we first moved in I went nuts with paint colors and had pumpkin orange, sage green, gold and a tan all in the living room. We really did love it, but tastes change, and we are going mostly grey with more colors in our accessories. The ‘Fall Nature’ theme is getting old!
