After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME!
When I first bought my house I thought I would bring in color by wall paint, but I wound up painting the walls neutrals and using my artwork as bright pops of color.

ADLER ME! We ended up with a metals theme in our kitchen – pressed tin backsplash, cast iron trivets, gray walls. It’s nice, but needs more colorful accents..and my cooking isn’t going to cut it! I keep fresh flowers on the counter and move various colorful items around in there, but I haven’t found the right thing yet…I hope it’s a sink :)
Thank you!

ADLER ME! We’re about to close on our new home on Friday, and it needs a complete renovation. My hope is to do a pop of color with a tile backsplash against cabinets that we’ll refinish white. Plus I plan on having a ridiculously large garden next year, so those flowers will be coming indoors for sure.
Gretchen says
ADLER ME! We made simple changes in our kitchen to add color: an orange schoolhouse-style clock; red and white gingham kitchen towels hang by the stove; a bright red tin that originally held Italian cookies now holds drinking straws; the vase we use for flowers is orange milk glass I inherited from my Grandma. I keep my eye open at yard sales and Target for orange or red items that would brighten our kitchen. Thank you for the wonderful give-away.

Our faucet is horrendous and was defective from the get-go. The finish has chipped off and we desperately need a new one. This would be just the thing to kick off our kitchen reno! :)
Laura says
ADLER ME!
Our kitchen currently doesn’t have a lot of color. When we moved in, the walls were painted a dull yellow that blends into the cabinets, countertops, and floors. We picked out our replacement color and will be painting the walls soon! So, the walls will be where we get our color. Those sinks are fantastic – I think they’d be the additional pop we need!

When we first had the house built we painted the kitchen RED. I loved it (the kitchen is quite large) however with four kids I was constantly touching up nicks in the walls. So we repainted the kitchen “Cloth” which I love.
As for colors, mostly it’s touches of color. The yellow apron sink would exactly fit the bill!
