Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

Wow! What a fun give-away… I would definitely want the whitehaven in poppy yellow paired with the cruette faucet – sharp!

We usually bring in pops of color with our kitchen linens. It’s fun to be able to change them out and get different looks. Thanks for such a great post/give-away!

We are currently working on our kitchen. I would LOVE and aqua or lime green sink. Since I moved in with my now husband, I’ve done nothing but bring in color and strived to make it homey. He lived here 5 years without even painting a wall! Thanks for the chance!

ADLER ME! I am sooo in love with this Annapolis Navy, I’ve lived in the Annapolis area my entire life and have no intention of moving! Since we live on the waterfront, the house is painted in very soothing water colors. Our kitchen has what would be very ugly countertops in any other house, but we’ve managed to draw your eye away! They’re a light blue and white stone pattern (but laminate) and the walls are a nice light seaglassy blue. I’d find the money for new countertops if I won the Annapolis Navy sink!!

This is awesome! We’re actually in the process of deciding what to do with our kitchen. We hate the paint color and backsplash that our seller chose, so we definitely want to swap those out and bring in our own color taste! I’m thinking a light tealy blue paint, and a silver/gray/metal-ish glass tile backsplash! Then I want to accessorize with flowers and dishes!

ADLER ME! I live in a cabin where everything is wood. I painted the outside trim on the kitchen cabinets an eggplant color. It is ok. Actually i I hate it. I am now saving for new cabinets and an antique stove with fridge painted in a vibrant color. The Riverby would be perfect!

We own an older home, and we’ve done alot with our downstairs, as far as color goes. We have apple green walls in our kitchen & I love walking into a bright kitchen. We accented with white, red & yellow. It’s a very apple-y room! We currently rent out our upstairs, but when we expand our family in the near future, we are planning on “taking over” the whole house. That will call for some re-dos on the upstairs. It’ll be like having a whole new house to play with. I would LOVE to add one of Adler’s amazingly awesome sinks & faucets to the mix!

Oh my gosh, the Greenwich Green makes my heart flutter. <3 In our first house, we painted the walls to bring in lots of color – in our current house, we've taken the opposite approach, using colorful accessories (window treatments, rugs, pillows, decorative accents) to brighten up each space. Green and blue are common themes throughout our house and a bright sink/faucet would be an amazing way to liven up our primarily white kitchen!

ADLER ME! Right now the kitchen is an almost horror show!! We are living in my husband’s parents’ house while they are out of the country doing missionary work. They redid the cabinets about 5 years ago but the contractors did an awful job. Very shoddy work. I also hate the color & layout. I would love to change it!

We haven’t touched our kitchen since we moved in last year, but we have always painted our kitchen walls a bright green color. Our plan for our current ktichen is to paint the walls bright green and then to use gray, white, black & wood as the other colors for the room.
