Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

My favorite pop of color in my kitchen is my three bright colored pots with succulents on my kitchen sink’s windowsill. The middle succulent has the most beautiful pink flowering blooms. I would love a Kohler sink and faucet to bring more color into my kitchen!

We have several other pops around the room, and I also put one of my favorite food quotes by Pavarotti on the wall (a lot of work, but I love it!) http://oregonkaisers.blogspot.com/2011/11/kitchen-wall-quote.html Next up… tackle the sink… and back of the cabinets!

ADLER ME! We are in the middle of an all white kitchen remodel. We are adding color by painting the ceiling in a light blue and displaying our yellow dishes on open shelving. The rest of the house is primarily white with yellow and blue accents. A yellow sink in the kitchen would be to die for!

Our kitchen is MS Timothy Hay green…so bolder color comes from fresh flowers at the sink ( from our wildflower garden-all bright and crazy) and a trifle bowl filled with tomatoes/fruit.

    ADLER ME!!!!!

I love to bring in fresh flowers as often as I can. Pink peonies, tulips, sprigs of hydrangea. Sometimes I’ll even clip the furry stems on my ornamental grasses and do a more harvesty look. My favorite season is fall, so I can’t help but try to put punches of halloween in the house all through the year.

I’m currently working on re-doing my kitchen and after seeing your open concept shelves I have decided that I am definitely going to go for it in my new remodel. It will help me not keep so much crap, but only what’s important!

Love the Palermo Blue! Would probably go with that color sink and use it as my punchy color for the room. :D

I recently painted my kitchen ultra-white and my breakfast room, which in my house is really just an extension of the kitchen with a table in it, a medium teal. When we have enough saved up to get new cabinets and counter tops, there will be even more color. I am a color fiend, and I thank my lucky stars everyday that my husband puts up with it so well. Down with beige! Haha
