Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

Adler Me!! I have 3 antique plates above my garden window and belonged to my grandmother. They are all white, but one has bright red strawberries, one has yellow apples and one has deep red cherries. The price on the back of each is $2.50! So they bring color and sentiment to my kitchen. (BTW – I have recently gotten into Adler’s design as well).

Adler Me! We painted our kitchen a bright yellow three years ago and it was the best decision we ever made! The kitchen feels so much more cheery and warm compared to our last blue and grey kitchen. The only thing we need to upgrade now is our counters and sink. Thanks for having this great giveaway!

We just bought a house, & we’re saving up for our big kitchen renovation!! It’s going to be huge; like knocking out a couple walls, huge. So, currently the colors are coming from my dishes. I’ve got an obsession with vintage pyrex & Catherineholm.

Currently our kitchen’s boldest splash of color is a green pegboard pot rack taking up the only wall space we have in our tiny kitchen. :)

What a totally fun give-away! We are currently renters, so given certain limitations there, we do what we can to add splashes of life & color via fresh flowers in vases (so many beautiful wild flowers grow right near us so all we do is head out to the fields with the kids each week and add new sprigs) :)… and also change out color with dish towels too. We are house hunting so this prize would be amazing to incorporate into our future kitchen!
