After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME!!!
I love adding color to the house by pillows, paintings, and pottery….eventually I will be brave enough to commit to an accent wall….or a brightly colored sink!!! That would be awesome! Not to mention, a really nice kick in the butt!!!!
Jennifer willis says
Adler me! I painted my kitchen pink one day on a whim before my husband came home from work! he was quite surprised!
Heather says
ALDER ME!!
The most colorful thing in my kitchen is usually our bold dish towels and our chalkboard wall with all of our drawings.
Karen says
ADLER ME! Color in our kitchen comes from plants right now. We are painting the kitchen soon, and I can’t wait!

“ADLER ME!”
Navy Apron sink would be AWESOME!
Lindsay says
Alder Me! We add pops of color by having fun colored dishes and serving trays.
Farrah says
ADLER ME! Right now our kitchen is cream/tan/rose thanks to the previous owners’ taste. We are planning to paint the walls a greige and do the best we can while we save, save, save for a full reno!

Adler Me!!
Our first house has a kitchen we’ve dubbed the “glowing goddess” due to its peach walls, honey oak cabinets, and mahogany floors. We plan on toning down the walls to more white/gray, but then busting out with teal/yellow accents!

ADLER ME!
My entire kitchen is pretty much white, I’m still trying to decide how to dive into color! Green walls maybe?
Lindsay says
Adler Me… I bring in color to my kitchen with bright turquoise plates and graphic towels in deep aqua and chartreuse! Keeping my fingers crossed!

ADLER ME!
Last year we painted the kitchen a color called “Clear Blue Sky”. The pop of color is the curtains – a dark orange called “Paprika” that helps blend our open-concept dining/living room area together (the curtains happen to match our couch). A fun colorful sink would break up the monotony of our cabinets, though!
Kim says
ADLER ME! We inherited greyish-blue Corian counter tops and have been accessorizing with green and orange (!) while I try to figure out what I want to do with the kitchen. One thing is certain though – I won’t give up bold colors in the kitchen!

ADLER ME, please!
To be honest, were in the midst of toning down the color in our kitchen. It used to be a ’90s BM Historical mustard shade (fixed that!). The cabinets were mid-green, but are now white. The floor, my pride and joy back in 1996, is a green and yellow VCT in a shoo-fly quilt pattern.
The once a beloved origina,l double-drainboard sink is now the stumbling block to real change. It hogs 50% of the available counter top space.
I dream of the Whitehaven in Greenwich Green.
I adore green and this one would pop in the revised whiter kitchen.

I have a few turquoise accessories the wife picked out.

Since I could not even fathom the idea that I could create something colorful within my kitchen that is edible I would have to go with my “good husband” jar being the most colorful thing as it houses his favorite candy.. who doesn’t love a glass jar full of skittles and starburst goodness?!?
Alyse says
Adler me, please!! My kitchen is sooo drab right now, the most inspiring color comes from the fresh tomatoes and carrots from the backyard garden and the light from the setting sun!

I like to use old vintage bowls for pops of color in my white kitchen.

My family is all into color- our kitchen right now is bright bright yellow. Mom had the forethought to paint some blue stripes onto our hardwood floor(the rest of the floor is very pale blonde) and it looks incredible together- not kitschy or clashy, but super duper cute.

Our kitchen currently has white cabinets, grey counters — and lovely light blue and green handmade tiles on the backsplash. We’re even considering trying to salvage those tiles to use as an accent when we remodel!

ADLER ME! We bring in some color with a few different accessories.

ADLER ME! Planning on hanging some black and white prints, so a pop of color in the kitchen is just what I need to start embracing more color.
Karishma says
ADLER ME! My husband and I are closing on our first house tomorrow, and besides the aqua glass tile backsplash I am imagining, a colored sink sounds like an awesome way to bring another splash of color in the, currently very 80’s, kitchen!
Heather says

We incorporated lots of cranberry in the wall color and glassware!

My kitchen is fairly neutral right now, but I’ve been trying to bring in fun colors throughout my house lately. I’m really loving clean, bold colors like raspberry and teal. I know they’re super trendy, but I love them. Especially during the summertime. Thanks for the giveaway!
Karena Del Sarto says

We painted the kitchen a bright cheerful yellow color, and we’ve got turquoise and green accent pieces scattered throughout. A turquoise sink would totally complete the look! :)
Michelle Eberhardt says
ADLER ME!!! Sounds like time for a colorful kitchen remodel!

ADLER ME! I love Jonathan Adler and these sinks are absolutely the bees knees. Greenwich Green is the exact accent color I have in my kitchen. Seriously. I die.

My favorite pop of color in my kitchen right now is a gorgeous light purple glass fruit bowl (though we rarely use it for fruit). It looks great with our white cabinets and grey countertops! A new sink would just be awesome :)
Sallie says
ADLER ME ! Color is a big part of our kitchen, from gorgeous antique blue Ball jars filled with freshly cut basil, to a hand painted tray from my grandmother’s kitchen, to a brightly colored bowl of crisp apples. We love being surrounded by lots of color.
Elisha M. says
Adler Me!! We have a pretty neutral palette but bring in our color with our throw pillows, seat cushions, and curtains. That way I can change it out at the drop of a hat!
Erika Jones says
Adler me!
I bring color in with accessories. A cobalt spoon rest and red fruit basket.
Would love to bring in color with my sink!!
Ashley Pena says
ADLER ME!! Oh please Adler me! My kitchen is a big beige box rig now in need of color. We had been planning to bring in color with curtains but a bright blue sink would rock my world!
Molly says
ADLER ME!
My husband and I rent, so we do what we can with accessories–colorful prints on the walls and plants around the kitchen in mosaic pots that I made. We can’t wait to own our own place and get to work making it exactly the way we like!
Nicole Hansen says
ADLER ME! I have this awesome Alexander Henry fabric with blues, teals, and browns that I used for drapes and window coverings.
Eli S. says
ADLER ME!
I love to add color with bright graphic dishtowels.
Marcy says
ADLER ME!
We don’t have our kitchen yet and I have to admit we are going pretty neutral with the counters (dark grey), paint (light grey), and cabinets (cream with a rust accent) but we plan to accessorize with beautiful, colorful bowls, towels, trivets, etc. And maybe a colorful sink!
Maggie says
ADLER ME!
We use color with our dishtowels and utensil holder…but our kitchen is part of the living room/dining room and there’s lots of color (orange!) in those rooms with an awesome Graham & Brown graphic wall paper.
LOVE Jonathan Adler!
