Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

Sadly my kicthen is lacking in the color department. I did get some neat kitchen mats from target that are super colorful but after 2 years they are looking a little drab themselves…

Seriously gorgeous. We’re building a house and could build the whole kitchen around these sinks. Currently, we work around my functional AND fashionable KitchenAid mixer in majestic yellow. Yeah, my mixer and Palermo Blue would work just fine!

ADLER ME!! Bright green paint in the kitchen and breakfast room which opens to chocolate walls in the family room. Neutral furniture with pops of pattern and color on the throw pillows for quick, affordable changes when I am in the mood. Ready to change the kitchen counters and would LOVE a new sink and faucet!

I’ve picked Observatory Blue from Behr to paint the back of my cabinets with glass doors – it makes me just plain giddy to think about that pop of color peeking out from behind my wine glasses – the blue sink and a lovely faucet would be another perfect pop of color to our white and blue kitchen!

Our kitchen is in phase one of a major remodel right now. I’m still cooking up a storm though – with the prettiest thing being my handy Kitchenaid mixer, which is a pretty bright red.

Our kitchen is actually the only space in the house that I painted a bold color- everything else is either greige or grey!I painted it green- Asparagus by Behr. I figured I could get away with it since there is only one wall above the kitchen sink that could be painted(the other two walls are all cabinet and backsplash)

ADLER ME! We’re currently renting, so we’re stuck with the forest green walls in our kitchen. It’s not terrible, but it’s not what I would have chosen.. as for “pops” of color, I’ve hung up some cheery art that goes along with the green. These sinks are amazing, by the way. Thanks for hosting such great giveaways for us! :)

Please please please. I l-o-v-e his work, so bright, colorful and clever.

One of the things on the ‘must do’ list before we moved in was to paint the 1980s oak cabinets Benjamin Moore’s Newburyport Blue. It is the most fantastic color, a lovely deep warm blue. We liven it up with pops of orange/red Le Crueset casserole dishes on top of the cupboards, and a beautiful runner that my sister sent me from China on our china cabinet (it has pink, blue and teal accents). The floors (which were battered brick patterned stick on tile) I painted with Benjamin Moore Tile and Floor paint in Abyss, a lovely dark purple-y grey.
We are about to relocate our laundry, so a new fun sink and faucet would be perfect.
