Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

NO, no. ADLER MEEEEEEEEEEE! I’m splashing my recently redone and painted gray kitchen with yellow, as in the coolest yellow bead board trash bin cabinet I scored at a scratch and dent sale! Red is another accent popping around.

ADLER ME! Right now, the most colorful thing in my kitchen is the laminate counter top (unfortunately!). When we update our kitchen in the next 6 months or so, I am hoping to paint the cabinetry white and put in an apple green subway tile back splash, along with a new sink and solid surface counter top.

I am currently dying to start my kitchen makeover, but am being disciplined and first finishing the painting of the dark wood trim in my house white. It is taking FOREVER!!! It is giving me lots of time to think about my kitchen and I am thinking of a very neutral wall with lighter cabinets and counters. I will accent with accessories/linens/flowers … which should be easy to do each season! Can’t wait!

I painted my kitchen cupboards a soft green, with a slightly darker shade on the bottom cupboards to ground them (a tip I think I got from your blog somewhere alone the line)! Repainting the cupboards was necessary since the house came with very 90s white washed pine that made them look almost pink! Ick!

OMG this could be what makes me redo the kitchen…please ADLER ME! These are the colors of my whole condo. The kitchen is a springy apple green, with red and teal accents. The dining room is a bright yellow, and the living room is a bright yellow and deep teal with green accents. I live in Jonathan Adler’s brain apparently! I’m thinking it would be the Riverby in Palermo Blue with the Cruette…but its so hard to decide!

I really need to redo my kitchen,so right now, I add color with Food (yum!) and flowers. A new sink would be a great jump-off point for a renovation. If I win, maybe one day I could show it off with one of your room renovations. :)
