Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME! We moved into our house 6 months ago, and the kitchen has NO color. The walls, floor, cabinets, counters, and appliances are ALL WHITE. While I research kitchen makeover ideas, I bring color into it with accents, and with the ever-present pile of baby toys!

    ADLER ME!

Right now, I’m rocking the slightly-darker-than-butter-yellow walls in the kitchen, but have toying with going slightly more…neutral. Or something. Open concept and all that means paint choices affect the public areas of the house to a larger degree. Who knows where I’ll go with color? These are the things that keep me awake at night.

    ADLER ME!

We are just starting to plan out redoing our kitchen, as in painting the cabinets, walls, hopefully changing out the backsplash and maybe counters so this would be awesome. I have picked out aqua and yellow for the color scheme but mainly in accents to pop off some clean white cabinets and wood counters. A new aqua sink would be another great pop of color!

Adler me because I could weep over those sinks they’re so lovely. Our kitchen is in the midst of a remodel – cabinets are going white. It’s too dark with oak cabinets and brown-gray speckled counters and backsplash. So right now it’s livened up with home-made curtains with birds of varying sizes in navy, green, teal and black and a wall of bright family photos in black frames and a big teal clock. Ooooh, ohhh, random name generator – please pick me!!

    ADLER ME!

We have an open floor plan but the walls with the appliances/the half wall above the sink are painted green. I neeeeeeeeeed the Riverby sink above!! Our very own “sue the napkin” (which is actually Eliza and oil painting) inspired our teal and green accented house and that sink would be a glorious addition!! Not only that but as an avid cupcake baker, I’ve been planning on replacing our double sink for a while since it’s a pain to wash my cake pans.

My fingers and toes are crossed!!
