Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

    ADLER ME!

Our kitchen is not all that colorful (new construction, wood cabinets and a dark green granite), so I add color with fun accessories such as colanders and bowls on the counter. We are, however, building out our laundry room in the next few months and I would loooooooooove that Palermo Blue deep sink for our cabinet build-in!! What a great find! :)

My kitchen is turquoise and I have an orange Kitchen Aid mixer for a pop of color. Plus our kitchen is lofted over our living room, which has half the walls a light lime green color :O)

    ADLER ME! Fabulous giveaway.

As a matter of fact I’m painting both my kitchen and my cabinets right now (inspired by you guys, among others!). The walls will be neutral and the cabinets white, so most of the color I’m adding will come from turquoise and orange accessories and from fabric, but after seeing a little turquoise sink in a white kitchen on House of Turquoise, I’d LOVE to win this.

Alder Me PLEASE! Our kitchen/dining/living room area is all pretty open and we painted our dining room purple so we keep the color to coordinating textiles in the kitchen. I looooove Jonathan Adler and think his kitchen would be very happy in our home! (because a sink and faucet have to have a good home)

    ADLER ME!

We recently moved into a 1965 Rambler. The house has never had any renovations done and is all original. The kitchen is in very (VERY!) poor condition. We are currently saving up to start tackling this project and would love to be able to begin this project with this great give away.

My wife’s grandmother always used yellow in her kitchen and I would love to add a big splash of color with a yellow sink! It would be very nostalgic for her and also help create a home for our future children. Currently, the only color in the entire kitchen are the original counter-tops. They are patterned with pink and blue stars that overlay eachother. Its actually really cute, and we would love to up-cycle them and use them in our future kitchen.

Thank you very much for posting this great give-away. We love love love the blog!

ADLER ME! we have not made any real changes to our kitchen since moving in a year and a half ago, waiting to save up to do some real damage. The most colorful part is probably the fun pictures of family and friends on our fridge. If we won this sink, I think that would give us the impetus to get on the kitchen already!

ADLER ME! Our kitchen is mostly neutral.. light wood, light paint, but we have tried to add more character by mixing metals. We have a stainless steel sink, appliances and backsplash, and I found an antique copper bundt pan and a set of copper canisters that we have on display.

We’re still saving for our kitchen remodel, so until then, I painted navy frames and put them where our backsplash will go. So we have art/pictures all around us in the room we spend the most time.
The navy apron sink would go perfectly in our kitchen!!

I love orange. And I try to keep it from running amok in my house. But about 3 years ago I found a great print on clearance at Michael’s that was all about bright orange and red, and have now used that as inspiration for my kitchen. This is the room where I can buy as many orange things as I want and no one can make fun of me (complete with an orange Kitchenaid!!).
