Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME! A favorite thrift store find has recently brightened up my kitchen. It’s a large ceramic bowl that’s green on the inside and blue on the outside. I put a few apples in it and set it on the counter. It’s cheery!

We decided to paint the walls a deep maroon red. Unfortunately, our dogs decided to eat the bottom half of the walls, so a new paint color will be in our future. This funky kitchen sink might be just the start to figuring out the new color scheme.

ADLER ME! How ironic, I just said about a week ago that I wanted to changethe Color in our kitchen and dining room! I just picked out a new color and it is orange! I can’t wait to see it I also picked up some new colorful rugs from crate and barrel. I’m also going to be putting new fabric on the seats in the dining room to bring in more colors along with new drapes around our slidding glass door. We would love a new sinks and faucet to go along with our other updates!

We’re working on a plan for a new kitchen, but we currently have a candy apple green Kitchen Aid mixer that helps with color in the kitchen. From that I’m able to get cute towels and utensils that compliment it. This sink would be amazing! I love color.

we have zero walls in our contemporary style kitchen, just cabinetry except for behind the fridge which still sports the 1970’s original grasscloth which is a really warm brick red tone. We are doing an accent wall of olive green in the space above our stairway which you can see from the kitchen! ADLER ME! because we are renovating our new house!

    ALDER ME:
We just recently painted our 1970’s kitchen a bright fun green. We love fresh flowers and are thankful for the fun flowers growing in our yard. We’re trying to add more fun-loving colors to our outdated home. Most of the colors in our kitchen are brown (brown cabinets, brown trim.. brown blah!) Would love a new sink that doesn’t drip ;)
