Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME! Currently, it’s my wall color that brings in the pop! After I save up for a bit, I’m going to bring it in to an accent modern day China hutch! I work for a cabinet manufacturer so I want to have them make a modern style china hutch with glass doors and a pop of a wall covering in the back to really set it off! :)

I would LOVE such a fun sink! I recovered some chairs that were on clearance at Ikea with a indigo/linen print fabric to go along with a display wall of cobalt and white plates. Trying to add the color but going s l o w l y as the budget allows. Next plan is to attempt some pinterest inspired roman shades…

ADLER ME! As soon as hubby is out of the hospital I hope we can finally re-do our kitchen. Hope to paint the cabinets a sort of charcoal grey with lighter walls and finally get some real counter tops. Anything will be a big improvement to tell the truth,it’s been more than 20 years since anything was done. I’m too afraid to paint the tiny space that is the kitchen in too dark a color and make it seem even smaller but I would really love some kind of color so maybe a colored sink would add that perfect touch without going overboard on the walls.

I’m hoping to do a complete kitchen remodel in the next couple of years, with white cabinets and this would go perfect with some white quartz countertops. Right now the walls are a light blue, and some of the smaller appliances are bright red. Other than that, I try to add color with the kitchen towels, rugs, artwork.

Alder me! We love incorporating souvenirs from our travels in Latin America as pops of color in the kitchen–punched tin painted zingy reds and yellows, a small oil painting of a beach scene (bought on the beach), and lots of festive hand towels. But a sink would take it to a whole new level!

Our kitchen needs new colors! We want to go with a sea/beachy color scheme with our revamp of the room. Right now, the colors are pretty blah so what we cook definitely has more color than the rest of the kitchen. It’s going to be fun to transform the room with some color and on a dime :) Can’t wait. Thanks for all these fabulous give-aways…it’s fun to share a bit of ourselves when entering to win and to read the other comments!

ADLER ME! Most of our kitchen revolves around our recently redone glass tile backsplash (and what texture!). It is neutral in color so that we can change the surrounding accessories as our tastes change. We go bananas with color from our succulent pots, artwork, and the fabrics we have chosen, the easiest way to keep things fresh! What a great giveaway, Thanks!

We painted our kitchen and added a new tile back splash a few months ago. We have black granite counter tops and a black sink that I’ve been dying to replace. Winning this would be a dream come true.

Also I’ve added pops of color by painting my knife block a bright red and hanging coffee cup wall pockets in bright colors.
Thanks for bringing us such great ideas and wonderful giveaways.

    Hugs…Tracy @ Cotton Pickin Cute

    P.S. I adore Claire’s 26 month photo. What a doll!
