Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME! We have a 50’s kitchen right now, so we’re rockin’ a black and white diner feel with red appliances and accessories. But we move to our new home in two weeks, and have BIG plans for lots of color. This combo would be an eye catcher for sure!!

ADLER ME! We currently have a slightly-out-of-date white kitchen: old white cabinets, ivory tile floor, ivory tile backsplash with a black laminate countertop. The way we brought in color was by getting all of our kitchen accessories in a bright, happy red. Red measuring cups, colander, kitchen shears, ect. Also, it’ll probably be easy to switch out if we ever want to try something new. Though a kitchen makeover is in my future, hopefully!

My kitchen is currently a sangria red which is too dark for the space. I have been drawn to yellow’s, teal’s and turquoise as pops of color throughout my house. I think with a more neutral color on the walls one of those bright sinks would tie in perfectly with my vision for the rest of the house.

Currently I am using little potted plants as the pallet. The colors from the planters flow with the yellow paint on the walls with sunflower curtains to brighten up the room. I love using bright colored pots for my plants, each slightly matching each other. I have purple & green clovers in the pots to add a bit of color that also flows to the carpet runner and kitchen towels.
I love how the sink colors just pop! My kitchen would be a dream kitchen if I am lucky enough to win this amazing giveaway. Thank you for the hope and dream.

ADLER ME!!! Our kitchen is black and white except fit my orange tile backsplash, which I looove! I bought seconds at the Heath tile factory in CA when visiting family and couldn’t afford to ship them to NYC, so every time someone went to CA, a few tiles came back with them. Took almost two years and another three to save up money to redo the kitchen. But I live looking at and touching them. My husband wonders when he catches me staring at them…

Adler Me! The Riverby is drop. dead. gorgeous. It’s actually very similar to the color of my kitchen walls. The rest of the kitchen is SO white. I re-did my kitchen cabinets, which were a terrible oak with burnt-looking grain in them. Thankfully they were pretty new (previous owner installed), so I just painted them. But the backsplash is white too, so I definitely try to bring in color in other ways. I painted a kitchen island some really bright colors and also used colored pulls from Hobby Lobby. I would love love love that sink. Plus, I’m such a huge Adler fan. My bro gave me a bud vase for Christmas that I absolutely adore.

We are in the process of selling our current house, the house we bought will need some serious work and i spend hours online everyday getting ready for the work a head.

In my current house i am feeling restricted since we have to keep it neutral to sell. My colour is on the flowers and vases i keep around.
