Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

When doing my kitchen I chose very neutral finishes with white cabinets and black granite countertops, so when I thought of how to add color I decided to paint the walls a retro/1950’s Pink.

ADLER ME- my house is about three years old and has the beige walls and beige flooring that came with the house. What I do to colorize is add green tablecloth and turquoise mats, gadgets, etc. to add color until I can afford to make home improvement changes. I would love to have the green sink. My furniture is green and people think it is ugly. I love it though. I think the green sink would set it off. Thanks for the opportunity.

What perfect timing…I just discovered my stainless steel sink has small pin holes in the basin and has started to leak.

Right now my kitchen is bursting with color with bright blue tile.

    ADLER ME!

Right now our house is on the market and we’ve been advised to take color OUT of the kitchen. Or, at least make it more middle of the road. Sigh. But I have dreams of blue everywhere. I mean, blue stuff, not blue walls. And all kinds of blue, not just one. I have a blue fetish, just like Tobias Bluth.

Our kitchen really needs to be redone, but as-is we painted the walls a mustard yellow up top and a light creme on the old paneled lower half. Unfortunately the faux brick backsplash leaves us with an ugly red mess. We’re saving our pennies for a full kitchen redo one day!
