Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

Our kitchen is neutral, neutral, neutral :( We are in the process of reworking this house, and the kitchen is functional and not in terrible shape, so we have kept it…. but….it is next on the list!!! Finally! So, I have planned white cabinets and deep gray counters with pops of green and aqua all around. I’ve even picked up a few thrift store dishes thanks to inspiration from your thrift store finds!!

ADLER ME! I’m lovin’ the colorful sinks!!

What an excellent giveaway! We just bought a house where the kitchen was totally removed by the previous owners (there was a sink left on the floor, I guess they didn’t like it much–and I don’t either!). We have plans to go with white cabinets, and grey walls with accents in chartreuse and aqua. So Greenwich Green and Palermo Blue are perfect! Thanks for the chance :)

We currently rent, so our pop of kitchen color comes from our small appliances and cranberry red flour/sugar containers. Our main colors are black, stainless steel, and cranberry red.

ADLER ME: We hope to paint our kitchen cabinets very very soon! Would love to be rid of the old oak of the 90’s…But in the meantime all my dishes and cups are beautiful shades of peacock blue, seaglass blue, yellow, green and coral from Target and Anthropologie! Eating/drinking from something colorful is much more fun!

My kitchen is a bold purplish color, it was like that when I bought it in March but I like it. I am still trying to decorate a little will mostly be bringing color in through flowers and a painting I won on a cruise ship, just need to frame it.

would love the greenwich green color but the yellow would probably match better in my kitchen
