Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

Sadly, most of the color in my kitchen comes from my son’s toys scattered around the floor (that, and the odd dish towel thrown over side of the sink). LOVE this new collabo!

The Boyfriend and I just moved into our own place, but unfortunately the landlord doesn’t let us do much to make it our own. I have been getting some beautiful colored plates and cups, though! Every little bit helps!

We just bought a new house and the kitchen is horrendous! I’m talking marble contact paper on top of wood paneling on top of 70s wallpaper! Plus…CARPET! eeeeek. A new kitchen is a must, and all that color would be a great start!

Currently, the most colorful things in my kitchen would either be the pineapple wallpaper border left over from the previous owners, or whatever toys my boys have left in there…but we have plans for a really fun and colorful kitchen in the next year or two, and one of these sinks would look awesome!

Our kitchen is painted a neutral gray, so we bring in color with a painted blue back splash (there’s no tile so i just painted the wall space) and a plate collage of different sizes and colors hung on the wall.

I was a little too timid to do a bright color on the walls so I went with a neutral. BUT I decided to kick things up by painting my breakfast table chairs a fun green and upholstering my bench in light blue. I am mixing these colors in with the accessories too, so a BOLD navy blue sink would be perfect!! ;)

ADLER ME! My kitchen has a base of neutrals (warm yellowish beige-ish ivoryish), with cherry cabinets, but I’ve added in color in the various accoutrements. The accent colors are pear green, golden yellow, and red, in the form of canisters, dish towels, rugs, and a framed poster of a big, red apple. If I won, I’d totally rock the yellow sink. It’d be rad!
