After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ALDER ME!
Currently, the only pops of color in our kitchen are the fresh fruits and veggies that are always on the counter.
Cassandra says
ADLER ME!!! We plan on painting our kitchen yellow and the Palermo Blue sink would look amazing.

I love the Palermo blue…it would match perfectly with my turquoise Kitchen Aid! :)

ADLER ME! Our kitchen gets pops of colors from the hand towels, rugs and fully stocked fruit bowl on the counter.

Since we moved out of state temporarily for the next year we are living in an apartment. Right now the ‘color’ in our kitchen would be the kids Ikea dishes/cups/utencils. They are sort of neon rainbow. It’s a nice little pop of color.

ADLER ME!!!!
We have a very strange orangey colored tile that is on the backsplash, floor tile, and on the counter. It is rip it all out and redo the whole thing $$$ or work with it. I am very confused.
Andy F. says
ADLER ME! These bold colors would look stunning with the penny tile back splash we just installed!
Brittany I says
ADLER ME!!
I recently painted my old oak cabinets white and I’m in the process of trying to find new granite counters. I decided to bring color into the kitchen with the use of fun art and bowls – things that I can move around and mix and match! It’s been fun, but boy oh boy would a new colorful sink be right up my alley!!
Meagan says
ADLER ME!
I am adding color into the kitchen with a roman shade over the sink…the Jonathon Adler sink would add just the right amount more of color!
Madelaine says
ADLER ME! We bought an older house. I loved the green kitchen at first, but now it’s clear that we are ready for a make over! The sunlight shining through the windows provides the best color in my kitchen right now!
Nicole S. says
ADLER ME! The most colorful things in my kitchen are the red Le Crueset pans and the red radiator that was painted to match!
Olivia says
ADLER ME! Currently, I’m bringing color into the kitchen with either some fresh flowers or a bowl full of fruit on the counter. Our kitchen is a little “blah” right now (we just moved in in January) with evergreen laminate countertops and honey cabinets, so I’d love to add some color and maybe paint the cabinets white!
Jan says
ADLER ME!
Our old cabinets are so yucky that we painted the walls white so the kitchen wouldn’t stand out. The colors we add (turquoise mostly) are in the towels, salt & pepper shakers, cooking utensils, etc. Some day when we remodel the kitchen, we’ll probably stick to neutral colors for the cabinets and walls, just because it’s always easier to sell a house with neutrals (we’ve had plenty of experience with that!).
Jannice says
ADLER ME!
Color comes from great Emile Henry pieces on the counters like their salt pig, spoon rest, canisters, etc all in bright bold colors!
Betsy says
ADLER ME!
I like to add color in the kitchen through the accessories – it’s so easy to change out curtains, towels or art, with a good base color.
Megan Carlisle says
ADLER ME!! We are saving and planning for a full kitchen makeover! We’re going to paint the cabinets white, build a peninsula and go pale blue on the walls (with a shade darker blue on the connecting Dining room walls). I’m so excited and a gorgeous navy sink would MAKE my kitchen! :) I have never wanted one of your giveaways more than I want this one!!!

Krissy says
ADLER ME!!
My kitchen was tan when we bought the house, and we just finished painting it white. I know — sounds boring. But I promise it’s not. The backsplash is a dark navy tile, and the countertops are grey/blue ish (we will be changing to white coriann soon.)
Stainless appliances were delivered last week and I accessorized with red dishtowels. It’s a fun change.
Kristen says
ADLER ME!
The way I bring color into the kitchen is with plants on the window shelves and colorful linens such as towels from Merimekko.
Michele O says
ADLER ME! We have color in the kitchen with the walls – they are slate in color!

I kick-up the color in my super-neutral house with seriously colorful art!
Whitney says
ADLER ME! We just purchased our home and have been avidly working on our kitchen, what’s left is a new coat of paint! We would love to add a pop of color to correspond with the neutral cabinets we refinished. We do already have a few splashes of bright accessories!
Macy says
ADLER ME! Need to paint the kitchen something other than the current cream.

Definitely fresh flowers! They will cheer up any kitchen, no matter where you live!

ADLER ME!!! We currently have a bright orange kitchen sink and a candy apple green bathroom tub and sink! I’d love something that blends a little better and that is easier to coordinate!
Brandi W. says
ADLER ME!
Our 50 year old kitchen is falling apart so I haven’t done anything with it yet, but when it is remodeled, I plan on bringing in some blue into the back splash, pendant lighting, and rugs. From there, we will have to see!
Stacy says
Adler me! I have a white and black kitchen and then my walls are a neutral tone. I prefer to stay neutral with stainless steel accents. Sorry if this is choppy – my 2 year old is attacking me on the sofa as I type.
Chelsea says
ADLER ME! Love the green walls in my kitchen :)
Heather says
Adler Me! I desperately want a “splash” of blue in my new kitchen. I love this!
Laura P. says
“yes, Adler ME!”
We are in the process of planning our kitchen remodel and I’m vetting for a chartruse accent wall! I. Would love a dark blue sink for this remodel!
Katie N. says
ADLER ME!
Omgosh, these sinks are so fun! We painted a navy blue accent wall in our tiny galley kitchen and hung some fun ikea pot racks, so any one of those fun colored sinks would totally pop in our kitchen!
Rebecca says
ADLER ME!
Oh…Kohler collaborating with Jonathon Adler…makes me tingly just thinking about it! :) I love a really monochromatic backdrop (all white and marble, for example) with hits of dramatic color. My mum has a deep emerald green Kohler sink from, oh, 15 years ago, in a butcher block island in an all white kitchen and it looks as fresh as the day she chose it!

Our Fiestaware plates add a bright pop of color in our kitchen.
Idalmis says
ADLER ME!!!
Well I have 3 young children and a white kitchen so the color comes in pops of drawings, form drawings on the dry erase wall to school creations, ALL of it goes into the kitchen. Best way to try out new artwork, don’t you think!!
Callin says
ADLER ME!
Color in the kitchen is all about accessories for me.
Daniele says
ADLER ME! We have some color in towels and vases.
Noelle says
Adler me!
We just painted the kitchen a buttery yellow and are accenting with pops of teal and red. It’s so fun to figure out where to add color and where to go with neutrals.
Tiffany says
ADLER ME!!!! PLEASE!!!!! We are moving into our first house next week! So excited! I have a black, red, and white and gray kitchen and master bedroom.
Ellen says
ADLER ME!
We use pops of yellow in our kitchen to liven up the muted gray walls and white cabinets. But a deep, single bowl sink in yellow would make the whole thing perfect!
Sarah Fowler says
ADLER ME! We will be moving into a new place this August and the kitchen isn’t ideal (white appliances). I think a new sink and faucet would be the perfect way to spruce up and bring some color into the place!
