Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

I LOVE J. Alder, he is amazing!! Love these new sinks, how stinkin’ fun! I love color and probably have too much of it in my house. My kitchen is especially bright but my extra large lamp w/ colorful shade is the biggest hit of color in the kitchen.

ADLER ME! Love these bright colors! I’m in the planning stages of remodeling my kitchen. I know I want an apron front sink, but I never considered a yellow one!

Bright backsplashes are a cool way to add color. And glass-fronted cabinets or open cabinets that allow your colorful dishes to punch up the kitchen are a great idea also.

Our beach house came with bold blue tiles on the floor and back splash, so we actually muted it with a neutral tan/yellow paint on the walls. We added some color pops with a few funky city pics of bikes and umbrellas showing some reds and yellows (we’ve lived in NYC for many years). I love fresh flowers on the counter!

We’re getting ready to paint our honey-oak kitchen white (unless we can figure out a way to squeeze new cabinets into our tight budget) so we definitely need to work in some color. We like pops of blue so will add that in with accessories/art so it’s something we can easily tweak as we get bored or want to freshen the room up.

    ADLER ME!

We just repainted our kitchen actually. When we moved in four years ago, we painted the walls burgundy and the cabinets cream. Well after 4 years we decided it was time for a change, so last weekend we painted the walls tan and the cupboards black, we are LOVING the new look. I couldn’t find any cabinet hardware I loved without breaking the bank, so I spray painted our current hardware copper, its such a fun little splash of color!
