After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME!!!
We’re remodeling our new home and currently the only color in sight is via the place settings, out the window at the mountain view (we live in a ski town) or through to the dining room where there are chairs apoholstered in plum fabric…I am SO DIGGING the navy sink and it will really pop once we get the kitchen cabinets refinished :)
Christina Brunk says
ADLER ME…help me find a way to add color!
Becky says
Adler me! I need a new kitchen so I can bring color into it.

ADLER ME!
We brought in color by painting the walls a warm mocha java brown. Our kitchen gets a LOT of light, so the walls look like a happy cup of creamy coffee. We still need to update our cabinets and beige floor and counters, but it’s a start.
Allison says
ALDER ME!! Bright green walls and always fresh flowers :)
Jenny says
ADLER ME!
I put up embossed wallpaper behind my open cupboards. And painted them a soft turquoise. Thus, the turquoise sink would be so pretty!
Annelise in Edmonds says
ADLER ME!!! I love color, especially greens and purples and my kitchen utensils and dish towels make that show! I currently live in an apartment with original appliances in light pink!! But I’m helping give my boyfriend some ideas for his horribly 80’s kitchen. A splash of color with a new sink and faucet would be perfect to get his kitchen remodel started!

Our coffee pot and our favorite cooking pot (a 5 qt Le Crueset) are both red, while the rest of the room is pretty neutral. (The rest of our house makes up for it though.)
Melany Hall says
Adler Me! I’m planning on doing neutral walls and cabinets and adding plenty of fun, bright colors with accessories, cabinet hardware, artwork, and plants.
Sara H says
Adler Me! I just added some very soft yellow curtains to the windows last week, but more color is needed for my very white kitchen!

ADLER ME!
Our old house was painted a beautiful barn red – no other color needed :-) This house is still a boring beige – so my “color” comes from my pottery on the open shelving the hubs built for me! Wall color yet to be determined….
Gretchen says
ADLER ME!!!
I bring color to the kitchen with sweet appliances like our blue kitchen aid.
Heather says
ADLER ME! I usually keep my walls neutral because I like to change up the colors of my accessories a lot. I love JA! This would be a great start to a kitchen reno. :)
Brooke says
ADLER ME!
Our kitchen colors will be sunny yellow, apple green and a blueberry blue that I bring in with accessories (yellow colander from OKL and my yellow stand mixer along with blue wall art). We’re in the mist of house hunting and we spend a lot of time in our kitchen so we’re looking for a nice one!
I think that Palmero Blue sink is awesome!
Charlotte says
ADLER ME! My kitchen is 30 years old and in need of a complete renovation. These beautiful products would be such a nice addition to a very drab kitchen. For now, red is my accent color introduced by accessories, etc. Thank you for the opportunity.

We’re in the beginning phases of building a new home from the ground up. I have dreams of an all-white and concrete kitchen with CMYK (because I’m a designerd) appliances and accessories. The yellow sink would be PERFECT!
Chantelle P says
Adler ME!
The most colorful thing in our kitchen currently is the yellow countertops.
Kris says
Adler Me!!
It is perfect timing for this since we are in the process of getting new countertops, sink and faucet. Our kitchen has pops of color from vintage fruit crate labels that we framed and hung on all of the walls. Actually, any of the colorful Kohler sinks would coordinate perfectly!

ADLER ME! I just painted kitchen and diningroom with Green Pond from ace hardware, and added this glass backsplash: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=100653983&storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&MERCH=REC%2d%5f%2dproduct%2d1%2d%5f%2d100664340%2d%5f%2d100653983%2d%5f%2dN It looks amazing! thanks

I have greenish walls which I love, but probably would make anyone else puke. Duron “Bok Choy” I don’t think it’s available anymore.
Sarah P says
ADLER ME! My kitchen is pretty boring in terms of color so this sink would really make a splash!
Rena says
ADLER ME! Usually my latest cooking or baking expedition brightens up my kitchen! Fresh flowers when I remember to buy help too. Oh and my 2 yr old daughters drawings :)
Karen says
Adler me! I have to even think about my kitchen – it’s stuck in builder-grade 1956, and we’re considering a redesign once we have the money stashed aside. I do know I love yellows in the kitchen.
Lindsey says
Adler ME!!!
A pop of color at the sink would be awesome!
Rebekah says

I currently am bringing color into our kitchen through the art on our walls, and by always having flowers and fruit in there as well!
Christie DeSilva says
ADLER ME!!!!!!!! Well, currently this is pretty much no color in my kitchen. It’s neutral neutral neutral neutral. Blah! I’m going to paint an ugly little chest freezer turquoise though. That ought to help! Oh I hope I win. My sink and my faucet are broken!

Whitney says
ADLER ME!! In our old kitchen we had orange walls with black and white accessories (sounds very halloween-y, but in person it was fantastic). In our new kitchen we decided to tone things down a bit. We went with a very light grey so we could make the accessories pop with color. That way if we change our mind on the color scheme we won’t have to repaint the whole room (open floor plan = a lot more paint!). I’m picturing colorful colanders filled with lemons and fun hand towels and a vase full of beautiful flowers.

adding some teal and mint green accents (spice jars, bottles, tea towels) to a gray and black kitchen! should have gotten a bright colored kitchen aid mixer instead of a black one =\
Hannah Nussmeier says
Adler me! I painted our living room walls a fresh, bright celery green. It’s the perfect color for a little woodland cottage, with lots of white & neutral accents.
Sara M. says
Adler me please!! I’m just getting ready to do my bathroom and I’ve been eyeing these sinks for a while. How great would they look with some mexican tile!? Thanks!!
Marina says
Adler Me! the most colorful thing in our kitchen is our fruit bowls! We like to find ones that have different patterns and colors so that we can change them out for different seasons.
Emily says
ADLER ME! We have a dark red accent wall that came with the house and we’ve incorporated pops of red throughout the room. We also try to keep flowers on the kitchen island throughout our short Alaska summers.
Marriah says
Adler ME! Right now, there’s not much color at all so we’re trying to decide what color to paint the walls. Everything is new (refinished before we moved in) and fairly high end, so we don’t want to get new cabinets or countertops.. Though I suppose we could paint the cabinets! Though the hubby would probably NOT go for that! :) Choose your battles… He would love one of these fantastic sinks, however!
Courtney says
ADLER ME!!
Fresh flowers on the table!
Caitlynne says
ADLER ME! We actually are in the process of buying the house that we’ve been renting for the past two years which is all kinds of exciting because it’s the house we brought our baby home to! So we are in the beginning stages of planning how to make this house OURS!
Brooke says

What a great giveaway! I love a white kitchen, but I’m starting to think I need some more color. I saw a turquoise blue hutch that I’m lusting over, but still scared to commit to. Maybe a new sink would give me the courage to add some more color!

We’ve been going the aqua route with splashes of fire engine red. Love.
