Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

My kitchen finishes are already pretty colorful because we have a mosaic tile (tiny subway shape) backsplash that is green/yellow/brown (kinda 70’s but in a good way I hope) and our countertops are greenish granite, so I actually use white appliances and canisters to freshen up the look a little bit.

Our current kitchen is a temporary/ placeholder kitchen.Five years and counting it will change! we painted the walls & ceiling the same blue as the blue ceilings throughout the house. So for now, it’s farmers market season, so there’s always a pottery bowl with gatherings from the garden & the market. Nothing makes a space pop like a bowl of heirloom tomatoes & eggplants!

ADLER ME! I recently put a navy, blue, and green rug under our kitchen table with new navy towels. You probably guessed I would get the navy sink if I won too – but could opt for the yellow. THank you!!

My most recent pop of color is on our deck furniture, I painted the two end chairs a bright yellow. Our kitchen is only temporary so a new sink would help jumpstart our new kitchen (we’re building it in the old dining room while the old kitchen stays functional).

Adler me! Ow my GOSH!! That sink is amazing. I didn’t even know there WAS such a thing. I have been wanting to do SOMETHING to and or for our kitchen and a sink like that would be perfect! The most colorful thing in our kitchen at the moment would have to be our BLACK fridge. :) So an improvement is needed. Thanks for the opportunity!

ADLER ME! Our kitchen is a mess–it’s next on my DIY list. The only fun splashes of color are in the houseplants that live in the bay window. But I’m excited to tear it all up and redo it in the next few months.

We went with muted tones in our recent kitchen reno (white cabinets, stainless steel countertops, white subway tile backsplash, etc) but I’m pulling in color with accessories like the cute yellow cow creamer I picked up at Target recently — he now sits in the window sill above the sink and adds a great pop of color to the room. Actually, I think he was featured in a Target shopping post at Young House Love not too long ago… :) But it sure is amazing what a little accessory like that can do!

My kitchen is already colorful from the yellow tiles and navy blue counters and floor. So I’ve painted it a muted blue. Someday I’d love to get rid of the navy blue floors and counters and replace that with a neutral so that i can go a bit crazy on the pops of color on the wall and counters. My bedroom is the Palermo Blue color and I absolutely love it!

Well, I’m kinda hoping to swap colors. Right now our kitchen is all white (like, ALL white) with a band of electric yellow and grey alternating tiles. It sounds like it could be kinda cool, but I assure you that it is not. This giveaway would be PERFECT for when we rip it all out and start over. Hopefully soon!! I love all of those sinks, though, how to decide . . .

I am bringing color into my kitchen by buying pretty, colorful dishes. I would love to have more of a colorful kitchen, but when we moved in the kitchen was pretty nice, however not bright enough for me. When we get some $$$ I would love to redo it with white cabinets, agua glass backsplah and of course one those bright Adler sinks. Ahhh….
