If the words “simplify,” “organize,” “declutter” or “make more time for [blank]” will be showing up on your resolution list this year, boy do we have the giveaway for you. Simplify 101 provides all sorts of fun interactive tips and online workshops to help you achieve those goals, and this week a trio of you will win TWO free workshops.
Our three winners can choose from any of the following workshops being held early next year: “Quick + Simple Clutter Control,” “How To Achieve Your Goals And Create A Life You Love,” “Organizing 101” and “It’s About Time: How To Have More Fun and Get More Done.” Oh and all of you can get a taste of Simplify 101’s helpful advice by downloading their free “How To Create A Command Central Binder” guide. We’ve also got a special discount ready to announce on Thursday, so check back for that in a few days. But enough chatter, here’s how to enter:
- PRIZE: Your choice of any two Simplify 101 workshops being held in January or February.
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “SIMPLIFY ME!” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re looking to simplify, organize, declutter, or streamline your life in 2011. We’d love some great ideas for our own list of 2011 resolutions.
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, December 29th at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three!
- PRIZE SHIPS: Worldwide!
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Before we announce our trio of winner, know that Simplify 101 is offering 15% off enrollment through January 3rd, 2011 with code SAVE15YHL at checkout. (Note: the “It’s About Time” workshop is currently offered at 20% Early Bird savings, so this 15% off can’t be combined with it)
On to our winners. The lucky three entrants that random.org chose are… Sarah Thimmes (who’s looking to organize her homeschool supplies and make more time for poetry writing), Kelsey R (who wants to really use her planner all year)and Tiffany (who just gave birth to baby girl on Christmas Eve. Wow!). Congrats!

I definitely need help to “SIMPLIFY ME!” My 2011 resolution is to make a schedule (and stick to it) for the house. I am usually a “clean and do laundry when needed” kind of person, but I have a 3 month old and I am in desperate need of more routine and the structure it would offer to help me get everything done!
I’m going to simplify my life this year by undertaking a major home cleaning spree. I plan on going room by room and really evaluating all of the “stuff” to see what I need and what is just taking up space.
Simplify Me :)

Oh please – SIMPLIFY ME!

Our goal is just just get rid of every extraneous thing we don’t need anymore…and there’s a lot. Once that’s done, the organizing should be A LOT easier.

we have a 4 and 2 year old, so anything that would organize our house would be super great!! I also craft, but am crazy unorganized!

Goals for 2010: I need to organize my home office, do some decluttering and organize digital files.
“simplify me!” my previous comment didn’t show up… Just had my fourth baby…seriously need to declutter and find a place for everything and keep it in it’s place!

Please SIMPLIFY ME!
I’ve been feeling so claustrophobic this holiday season with so much STUFF that I am taking down the tree today. I love the tree, but I can’t take it any more! I think we need to find another spot for it next year or I will have a melt down! :(

For 2011, I hope to simplify my life by getting rid of meaningless things and replacing them with things that are meaningful (i.e. less television and more time to practice piano, guitar, and harp or read more!).
I just ordered a personalized calendar with all anniversaries and birthdays filled in. I hope it helps me avoid last minute gift shopping. I’d love to win the “It’s About Time: How To Have More Fun and Get More Done.” That sounds awesome.
SIMPLIFY ME! I’m pretty good at simplifying my physical clutter and space, but I could use some help with time management and goal attainment!
SIMPLIFY ME!!!! Oh this is the perfect giveaway for me! I am 30 weeks pregnant and trying my hardest to get the house ready for baby, but so much has got to go to make room for the baby stuff. I want to simplify our house and our schedule, but its so overwhelming, I’m not sure how to start!!
Simplify me! I just moved into a small(er) space, and I need to maximize every last square inch!
In 2011 I’d like to streamline my life by getting our house organized and bring structure to my life with some weekly me time such as taking a pilates class and maybe a photography course to have fun while staying fit and broaden my knowledge and eye. I’d also like to find time to enjoy some date nights with the husband and to find activities in town to do with our baby Ella while balancing a clean, organized home and a part time job. I also would like to find a way to earn a supplemental income doing something creative I enjoy from home. That would be 3 birds in the hand for me, as I’d be home with Ella and get to be creative while making some money on the side that would hopefully lead to an expanding business or seed money to own a business when Ella starts school. This would definitely simplify our lives while making the most of our time.
What a great contest. We are moving from a 2000 sq ft house to a 1000 sq ft house and we NEED to SIMPLIFY in a major way.
im a very organized person that never stops making notes. this year im going to buy an organizer (strangely enough ive never had one) and keep all my lists and notes in there so i know what ive done and what i need to do without having to find a bunch of loose notes.
In 2011, I want to create a “make 2011 great” list which will detail several of the goals I want to make happen. My life can get overcrowded with things that push out what I REALLY want to do, so my organization goal for 2011 is to actually achieve goals I set and decide what is most important and go for it!

Simplify Me! My new house is a mess. I’ve got so much more space now and have no idea how to best organize it. I want to better organize our office, closets and kitchen to start.
Planning to think more positively and not let negative thoughts “clutter” my outlook!
Simplify Me! I would like to organize in one book all of my recipes that I cut out of magazines and print from my favorite blogs, so that I don’t have to look through hundreds of recipes to find the one I want!

SIMPLIFY ME! I’m looking to get all of our important personal, medical, vehicle, and household paperwork organized first and foremost It’s very frustrating when you need something for car insurance or whatever and you can’t find the right paperwork!
SIMPLIFY ME! I am getting married in 2 (!!) days, and know that we will be getting lots of new’ stuff’ for our house as gifts. Our apartment is small, so my organizing goal for the new year is going to be figuring out the best way to store our things, and what older things need to be given away or sold as new things replace them.
We need an organized office space for sure. I need one for my grad school work and my hubby needs one for writing, bill paying, budgeting etc. (yes, he does those finance chores that I hate!). We have two rooms for offices which is awesome, but we are seriously lacking furniture! We’re looking forward to building lots of custom furniture to store all our stuff.
Oh, pretty please SIMPLIFY ME! My home is quite the mess (and after christmas it is even worse!) and it seems that every time I get one corner done and turn around, all other three corners just laugh at me with even more mess to take care of. Of course it helps that I am a quilter since we are the queens of fabric mess :)
Simplify Me! I need to organize our paper files and consolidate 2 households into 1.
SIMPLIFY ME! Since having my son three months ago, I feel like my home looks like a tornado blew through. I go back to work soon and will need to find a balance… spending time with my family and keeping the house in order during my down time. I also have a side business that has taken a backseat to my full-time job. I’d love to turn my side business into something that can bring me to a point where I could make it my career. I’d love the workshops!!
Simplify me please! I want to go room by room and get my house decluttered and organized.
SIMPLIFY ME! I would love to become more organized in 2011, I am getting married so I have been trying to think of ways to organize two lifes together lol!
I don’t even no where to start-closet, kitchen, office. I need a major overhaul!

SIMPLIFY ME! My fiance and I are moving in to an apartment together (and getting married) in 2011 and I would love to be able to move out of our current apartment and incorporate new wedding gifts into our new place in an organized way. I’m not sure if that’s possible, but I think I’m up for the challenge!

SIMPLIFY ME!!! Its like you’ve been reading my mind! My goal is to be uncluttered and more organized- home, mind, and body. Sounds pretty overwhelming. A little direction and instruction would be great!
We just got engaged on Christmas Eve (yay!) so we’re hoping to get married toward the end of the year.
In the meantime, our 2011 resolutions are to declutter (using your fabulous get-rid-of-100-things trick), downsize (way too much square footage for us and our two dogs) and get out of debt.
This will help be ready for our 2012 goals: buy a home and have a baby! :-)
SIMPLIFY ME. O man it’s like you were reading my mind. My plan is to do a house purge. in a serious way. We have so many places that need organization and alot of decluttering. (not sure that’s a word…lol)
simplify me! I love to organize, but lately YHL has been motivating me to really pare down. This would be super helpful!!

I am looking to rid our home of clutter and get my home office functional
SIMPLIFY ME! I’m ALWAYS looking to declutter and simplify my home. I LOVE a good purge!
I am obsessed with organizing and decluttering when it comes to my home, my closet, or my desk. But my life could definitely use some simplifying and organizing. Mostly, I’d like to figure out how to find the time in my life to do everything I want to do, other than work!

I am trying to get my bills/medical expenses/mail, etc. for my family organized.

We just got married and I need to simplify all our medicals, financials and my last name change!!!
SIMPLIFY ME! I could use help with time management and getting goals accomplished!
I am planning to organize all my digital files.
I would love to get rid of everything in our house we don’t need or use.
We’re moving this year, so I’ll be starting from scratch in a new house!! I need my kids toys/crafts/clothes simplified and organized…it seems to overtake the house!!
I am having our first baby in April, and now that Christmas is over, we are going to be in major clean out mode of our small two bedroom home. I know that if I don’t have some major organization done prior to giving birth I’m going to feel like I’m drowning once the baby is here. I’m getting all tense just thinking about it…..
Well, we’re hoping to simplify A LOT in our life in 2011. We’re jumping on the Dave Ramsey bandwagon and reorganizing our finances. We’re hoping to declutter our house in January (early spring cleaning?) and give lots and lots away to Goodwill. We want to not stack our schedule so much and have moments for spontaneous fun. :)
Nicole from Richmond! says
Currently working on putting all things in their rightful place; shoes in closets, toys in rooms, cell phones in charging station, etc. However any help is welcome!
Anna Gould says
SIMPLIFY ME, PLEASE!
I want to start off 2011 being organized so I can do my best work and be successful at achieving my goals in 2011.
Amanda Honaker says
Simplify mio! I took the opportunity (like you two) during a recent move to pare down… anything not used/worn/displayed in the last year was history! Passed most of my clothing items on to fam and donated the rest at the local Goodwill. Plan for next year is to continue to be…well, “simple-minded”, if you will, especially where new purchases are concerned! Trying to avoid re-cluttering and will still have my eye out for things that could “go”.
This year I plan on developing systems and rituals around tasks that I regularly do to make them more efficient and enjoyable, so I don’t procrastinate as much.
