Fab Freebie: Lowe-ded With Ideas

***This giveaway is no longer expecting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org once again spun its wonderful wheel of randomness and selected our two winners as… Amy @ Larryspearslive.com and Amanda Deerr. Congrats ladies!

Raise your hand if you want a $50 Lowe’s gift card. Or better yet, give me a “hootie hoo.” And if the thought of being one of two lucky winners doesn’t instantly get your brain spinning with all of the potential projects that you could tackle, Lowe’s Creative Ideas will happily fill your head with… wait for it… creative ideas. You may already know of the free Lowe’s Creative Ideas magazines (if not, you can subscribe to ’em here), but even we didn’t realize how much content they have on their website and Facebook page. And along with bigger building and DIY ideas they’ve also got decor tutorials (like stamping curtains) and crafty stuff (like making silhouette art) too.

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift card to Lowe’s courtesy of Lowe’s Creative Ideas
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “IDEA ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your all-time most creative idea. Was it an awesome solution to an everyday problem? A delicious spur-of-the-moment recipe? An ingenious fix to home decor dilemma? Maybe you’ve just stumbled upon a simple household trick that makes your life easier (like letting the dog eat scraps around the highchair instead of vacuuming)?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, September 14th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perked for hosting this giveaway, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics courtesy of Lowe’s Creative Ideas.

IDEA ME . . . my best idea was buying our friend’s hideous coffee table for nothing and painting it to make it look like new.

Idea Me! Combining Ritz, butter, Parmesan cheese, and chicken. Yum!! That’s collegiate creativity for you, and so yummy!

IDEA ME!!!!!! I think my most creative idea had to be my pantry. When I first moved in it had two shelves that could not be versatile and changeable so my boyfriend and I ripped it out, painted the inside a color, and bought shelving tracks so the shelves could easily be moved to fit our needs. Its so great to be able to move the shelves around whenever I want!

    IDEA ME!

When we moved a couple months ago, the shelves for our bookcase did not materialize on the other side… we’ve since turned it (a big open rectangle with 1 built-in shelf) into an extended workspace using a door + 2 legs. It’s even more functional then it was before!

Idea Me! Oh boy could I use a $50 gift card. I’m getting married and home repairs are on the back burner. This could help pay for some well needed maintenance.

IDEA ME! That that it is all that ingenious, or something new and exciting, but I once but up a larger print and put it into smaller frames for a more ‘artsy’ look to the print. I actually really like how it turned out, although the print isn’t really my style anymore.

IDEA ME! We’re getting ready to turn a hall closet into a master bath, so a gift card would be very nice!

    IDEA me!

While not groundbreaking, i’m working on a customized writing journal (daily kid focused prompts) to encourage more writing!

IDEA ME! The best thing that I have going on right now is browsing pinterest for ideas; it saves me so much time!!

    “IDEA ME”
I must say that I manage to come up with creative meal ideas based on things that we already have at home….or maybe I just like to avoid the grocery store crowd as much as possible! lol
