Oh Brother! (Or Sister?)

We’re excited to announce that the Petersik family is currently under construction. Our new addition is expected on May 19th. We’re thrilled, even though a certain someone won’t be the baby anymore…

BurgerBigBrother

Yup, Sherry’s got a proverbial bun in her proverbial oven. And we couldn’t be more elated to share the news with you guys! More details to follow on Friday (so ask any and all q’s and we’ll answer as many as we can at the end of the week).

Until then it’s back to before & afters and DIY ideas- we’re nothing if not home obsessed…

Congratulations! I’ve been following your blog for months and get lots of good ideas from you guys. My question is: where did you get Burger’s t-shirt? I want to get one for my little doggie (toy fox terrier).

How exciting!!!! Congrats! I feel like I’ve read your blog so long that I know you and this is fantastic news, my friends. Also, since my little one was born on May 24th I can kind of imagine where you are at in the pregnancy right now. I am just beside myself waiting to see the nursery – I have vicarious baby fever! My question is this (apologies if someone asked already): are you going to reveal the name you choose prior to the birth, or wait until after?

Yay! You cleaned out the basement just in time for all the baby stuff to fill it up! I can’t wait to see how you are going to work an Exersaucer into your decor.

OK, no question here but I have to share a funny story. I took a pregnancy test on Christmas Eve and it was positive (with baby #2). I wanted to surprise my husband so I wrapped up the positive test in gift wrap and had him open it first thing in the morning. He opened it up and said, “What is this, a thermometer?”
Thanks honey for ruining my moment. LOL!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I recently had our first baby and it’s really true what they say about how much your life will change, and I didn’t quite get it until he was born. It’s the best change, though. I don’t think anything can top the feeling of when they first place the baby in your arms seconds after they are born. I’m excited for you guys!

Congratulations!! I feel like I know you both from being an uber-obsessed reader and I’m so happy for you guys! Ironically, I was reading Katie Bower’s blog last night for the first time (loved it, by the way) and saw that she is also pregnant. Did you both know that the other was trying too? Also, my personal preference is to NOT find out the gender of the baby…what will you guys do? I can’t wait to hear all the great stories and see all the DIY baby projects that I’m sure will be soon to come! Congrats!
