Fab Freebie: You Pillow Designer, You

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries.****

Last week we promised you’d get to design your own prize, and we’re sticking to our word thanks to InMod.com. While InMod has all sorts of already-designed modern furniture, perhaps the most intriguing offering is their design your own pillow and design your own duvet feature.

InMod Design Your Own

And this week InMod.com is giving away TWO pillows that our winners will be able to design themselves- that means any size, any design, any fabric and any color of their choosing. So it’s time to flex those pillow designin’ muscles of yours (we know they’re in there). Oh, and there’s also a nice little discount headed your way on Thursday for all the non-winners, so stay tuned for that.

In the meantime, here are a few sample pillow designs that we played around with (have we mentioned how fun it is? because it’s extremely entertaining):

InMod Color Bubbles

InMod Chair Pillow

Here are all the deets:

  • PRIZE: Any pillow of your own design from InMod.com (any size, any material, etc).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I’M A DESIGNER” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us if, in your wildest dreams, you were able to launch a line of products – what would they be? A clothing line? A repertoire of baked goods like cookies and cupcakes? Or perhaps you’ve always dreamed of your own pillow empire?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 28th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: TWO
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The lower 48 United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

    I’M A DESIGNER

I would love to design a line of baby clothes that are cute, simple, and adjustable. When my daughter was a baby I struggled to find cute, simple baby clothes that fit well. Footie pjs and rompers never fit her right, and I always thought I could design something that would work better.

If I would launch my own line, it would be a mix of loads of different things I love. I’d sell prints of my favourite photos I’ve taken, I’d take orders for cupcakes (I’m a very enthusiastic baker and I’d like to think I’m getting quite good), I’d make loads of cute pillows like the ones I made myself for my bed, and I’d sell anything else I loved at the time. I don’t like limits and boundaries (:

and i would love to start my own shoe line for women with larger feet such as myself. We always get the short end of the stick when it comes to stylish shoes in size 11 or up. But also as an inspiring interior designer having my own home decor line wouldnt be too bad either. :)

I recently made cupcakes for my friends wedding… I would love to do that full-time.

A friend & I used to dream about having our own GOOD line of bras & bathingsuits (particularly for the over B-cups) that weren’t only halter or teeny tiny.

I would LOVE to be responsible for creating the labels for wine bottles. When my husband and I were first getting into wine together, he would do a lot of research on which bottles were great buys and I would strictly go based on if I liked the bottle or not. We have now primarily adopted my method, since I have come up with the better deals!
