Fab Freebie: You Pillow Designer, You

Last week we promised you’d get to design your own prize, and we’re sticking to our word thanks to InMod.com. While InMod has all sorts of already-designed modern furniture, perhaps the most intriguing offering is their design your own pillow and design your own duvet feature.

And this week InMod.com is giving away TWO pillows that our winners will be able to design themselves- that means any size, any design, any fabric and any color of their choosing. So it’s time to flex those pillow designin’ muscles of yours (we know they’re in there). Oh, and there’s also a nice little discount headed your way on Thursday for all the non-winners, so stay tuned for that.

    I’m a designer! No truly I am. I have a landscape architect degree and currently am a landscape designer. (not officially a landscape architect yet :( ). Anyways, my line of products would be region-specific. I would learn to propogate and select native species of plants to make them more valuable (and desirable) for home and business owners. Of course, my line of products would be for the mid-south region of the US, but others could follow suit and do the same for their regions. I’m sure you’ve noticed the most desirable plants in the garden centers are usually non-natives. Well, these plants are usually not naturally the way you see them in the centers, they are selected and hybridized. Why can’t we make natives in the same fashion??

    I’M A DESIGNER!… and while I work for a design firm – I would LOVE to start my own line of shoes for petite women. Short women, or women with little feet have the HARDEST time finding cute (or any shoes) for that matter!!!

    I would design inexpensive yet quality modern furniture. In small cities, decorating is a little bit more challenging with only a couple of department stores to shop at.

    I would definitely design my own clothes – I always end up picturing the perfect thing in my head BEFORE I go shopping. It’s usually something that is not actually in production anywhere…

    I would love to be able to design furniture that would be very “pet/children friendly”, say cat trees incorporated into sofas or coffee tables that were childrens cubbyholes.

    I’m a designer!

    I would start my own line of furniture featuring driftwood. And I’d travel all over picking it up. I’d have fresh water pieces and salt water pieces.

    Shoes! I am usually shopping with something in mind and can’t find it. Also, I would design a line of mid-height heels for tall girls like me.

    I’m a designer! I would design a line of maternity clothing that is stylish and affordable. It would come in a range of sizes and colors, would be cut to fit well, and would be made of natural fabrics. You’d think someone would have done this already.

    I’m a designer…or I wish I was ;-) I have a few ideas for my own business, one involving baked goods and the other sewing. Both of which I can do but am afraid to take the next step. Hopefully soon I’ll have the courage to make one or both happen.

    I would have a line of gorgeous, AND comfortable, high heel shoes for women with wide feet, or… a freelance print design firm, or… revamping/repurposing anything for the house that people no longer love.

    I would love to design clothing for women with a little extra on the bottom. I always have a hard time finding pants that fit and are flattering because I’ve got some junk in the trunk! hahaha
