Fab Freebie: You Pillow Designer, You

Last week we promised you’d get to design your own prize, and we’re sticking to our word thanks to InMod.com. While InMod has all sorts of already-designed modern furniture, perhaps the most intriguing offering is their design your own pillow and design your own duvet feature.

And this week InMod.com is giving away TWO pillows that our winners will be able to design themselves- that means any size, any design, any fabric and any color of their choosing. So it’s time to flex those pillow designin’ muscles of yours (we know they’re in there). Oh, and there’s also a nice little discount headed your way on Thursday for all the non-winners, so stay tuned for that.

    I would start a custom slip cover empire… in my WILDEST sewing dreams! One (rough around the edges) toddler rocking chair, and I’m addicted to slipcovering!

    I AM A DESIGNER! Once upon a time in fashion school I wanted my own clothing line…. now I want that and a home decor line! In my dream world, cant I have my cake and eat it too? :)

    I would love to have a candy line. I love the truffles, caramel pretzels, chocolate covered marshmallows, everything is better dipped in chocolate!!

    I’M A DESIGNER

    I’d love to start a line of yarn! A small line, made with care, with the individual breeds of sheep in the blend right on the label. It would be kettle or hand-dyed, some in bold combinations, some in subtle solids, ranging in weight from lace to chunky. (Basically every non-wool-allergic knitter’s dream.)

    I “design” cupcakes so that would be my dream…to actually take my cupcakes ideas and creations and open a cupcake shop. I make all sorts of fondant designs that can be tailored to all sorts of showers, parties, birthdays,and more! You name it…I can cupcake “design” it!

    I’M A DESIGNER!!
    Even if I don’t win this I am still going to design my own duvet, as my husband is super picky and hates anything remotely girly. I would LOVE to be able to build things, really just anything, but mostly the plans from Knock Off wood!

    I want to change the way wrapping is done. I want to design a line of eco-friendly wrapping paper that could be composted and/or from all recycled materials – and also looks fantastic.

    Oh, I wish I was more creative. I would love to design my own jewelry line. Which is funny, since I rarely where any. But yet I love it. Go figure?

    I’M A DESIGNER!

    If I could design anything it would be a line of kid friendly cooking equipment. Everything from utensils to pots and pans. I am a culinary student and my neighbor kids that I grew up babysitting love to cook with me. However, when it comes prepping ingredients, the littlest ones can’t help a whole lot. I think that getting the future generation in the kitchen and learning about what they are eating is key. Getting the kids to try new foods and to not be afraid of “strange” ingredients is what I love! So kid friendly cooking equipment would be great!

    I think I’m more likely to design paper goods, stationary, or office supplies than home goods. Hence why I’m addicted to YHL!

    I would design curtains if I were crafty and patient because store bought ones are either boring or tooooo expensive. That’s a pretty big if though.

    I don’t think that I could truly claim that I’m a designer, but if I had my dream it would be to design a line of letterpress printed stationery. There is something about paper that makes me giddy. This textile design sounds especially fun too.

    I’m a designer!

    I would have a children’s clothing line…I have an etsy shop for children’s designs and it would be amazing to have my own line that I sold in stores or had my own shops around the country.

    I’M a designer…and I would love one of those pillows! How cool! In my dreams, I would own my own little reclaimed and new furniture boutique. Nothing big, just some really quality things, and LOTS of local merchandise.
