Fab Freebie: Wrapped In Comfort

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Someone’s about to get more comfortable because random.org just helped us pick them as the winner. That lucky person is… Kristen B (who says a walk on the beach seems to help everything for her). Congrats Kristen!

I realize the title of the giveaway sounds like a cheesy line from a fabric softener commercial, but this prize isn’t about wrapping you in comfort – it’s about wrapping your furniture. Your Ikea furniture to be exact. See, the Australian company Comfort Works had the smart idea of offering slipcovers custom fitted some of Ikea’s popular couch and chair styles. You can get your Ektorp finished in a pinstripe, or your Klippan in a toile or even your Karlstad (holla!) in a heavy duty solid texture. No Ikea furniture to cover? The also to do custom curtains, duvet covers, cushions, pillows, and even custom plush toys.

ComfortWorks Giveaway

  • PRIZE: $350 credit to Comfort Works
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “COMFORT ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … when you’re upset, sad, or stressed – what comforts you most? A good, consoling chat with your mom? A long hot shower? Going out with friends? A big box of Oreos?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 23rd at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Worldwide (woot!)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Comfort Works.

John and Sherry, visiting this site infected my computer with malware that has proven very difficult to remove. I just want you to know and your subscribers to know so that others do not have a major issue.

So sorry Jules! We had our tech guys run three tests (very deep ones) and nothing came up for our site! We have unlinked to their site since that seems to have been the issue (now the link is just to their facebook page) just in case it could hurt anyone else. Hope it helps!

    COMFORT ME!

This is too coincidental. We have no Ikea in Halifax NS so I just tracked down a guy on FB who will actally pick things up for you at an Ikea in Quebec and deliver them to our area. I had been waffling on the Ektorp sofa as I liked the white cover – but thought I needed something more durable for the cottage wear and tear and I wasn’t nuts about the other Ikea cover options. And bingo you have your awesome giveaway!

    Hope I’m the lucky winner.

    Heather
