Fab Freebie: Wrapped In Comfort

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Someone’s about to get more comfortable because random.org just helped us pick them as the winner. That lucky person is… Kristen B (who says a walk on the beach seems to help everything for her). Congrats Kristen!

I realize the title of the giveaway sounds like a cheesy line from a fabric softener commercial, but this prize isn’t about wrapping you in comfort – it’s about wrapping your furniture. Your Ikea furniture to be exact. See, the Australian company Comfort Works had the smart idea of offering slipcovers custom fitted some of Ikea’s popular couch and chair styles. You can get your Ektorp finished in a pinstripe, or your Klippan in a toile or even your Karlstad (holla!) in a heavy duty solid texture. No Ikea furniture to cover? The also to do custom curtains, duvet covers, cushions, pillows, and even custom plush toys.

ComfortWorks Giveaway

  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 23rd at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Worldwide (woot!)

    COMFORT ME!!
Music comforts me, mostly because once I press play I can’t resist the urge to dance – and it’s hard for me to dance and be sad at the same time.

COMFORT ME! When I’m stressed or feeling down, I’m immediately comforted after coming home to my dog who is so excited to see me his tail is wagging so hard that his whole back-end is shaking from side to side. It just puts the biggest smile on my face!

COMFORT ME! Strangely enough I find doing house cleaning helps me de-stress, or at least forget my worries for awhile. A vigorous vacuuming or organizing session seems to work every time. If I’m angry about anything I really get a lot accomplished! Rug beating, pillow fluffing, and so on. : )

When I’m stressed I go home and eat a bowl of cereal or make pancakes. Usually cereal since it’s easier. The extra sugary kind!

I would LOVE this. I have an Ikea futon that is DIRTY after alot of use and would love to just get a new cover. Off with the old, in with the new.

Confort me! A walk with my husband (with a hug from him) probably works the best. However, I also like to watch Grey’s Anatomy with a cup of hot chocolate (I save the new episodes on for when I’m particularly down). Watching other people’s big (albeit fake) problems make mine look smaller! At least that’s what I tell myself.

COMFORT ME! Usually the best comfort to me during sad or hard times is talking to my husband and/or my mom. My husband always makes me laugh and see the positive side of things and my mom just does what mothers do best, she is always sympathetic and uplifting.
