One look at Pinterest and I don’t feel quite so alone in my fascination with maps. So to everyone else out there who digs a little cartography in their design, hold on to your seats. My favorite city would have to be Seattle, it is beautiful, full of great energy, and was the first trip that my husband and I took together.
PS – In college I had a world map on my wall (I dragged it around all 4 years – 2 dorm rooms and 2 different houses) and whenever someone new came over, they had to sign their name to a place that they either love or have always wanted to visit. I was a great way to get to know something a little bit random about people and create some fun conversations!

Although we live in Atlantic Canada, my husband and I got married this summer in New York City (Columbus Circle, to be exact)! I have lived in the US and in Australia. My husband is from halfway across Australia, I am from Sydney, my Dad is from Brisbane and my Mom lived all over the US as an Air Force baby. We have traveled through New Zeland and Japan on many of our 15 round trips back to the USA to visit my Mom’s family. My special place? The 5 acre block we have just made an offer on about an hour away from where we live now! It is the future site of our dreams :)
