One look at Pinterest and I don’t feel quite so alone in my fascination with maps. So to everyone else out there who digs a little cartography in their design, hold on to your seats. I will always love Thailand. It was like a second honeymoon for my husband and I! And it was a romantic adventure where we got stuck there during the Chinese New Year because of visa issues getting back to China where we were teaching English. Not a bad place to get stuck at for 10 days! That is when we really fell in love with Thailand.

WORLD ME! I grew up in Henderson, Nevada. Back then it was a tiny little town, now it’s grown to mega size to keep up with Las Vegas. My parents let us play in the street, ride bicycles to school and go for hikes in the desert…ALONE. It was a great little town where everyone knew everyone! It still has a main street called Water street and they have an industrial days celebration with parade to celebrate the town’s heritage every year.

Ohhh… very sentimental question asking me what town is special… I grew up in Christchurch, New Zealand, still recovering from earthquakes two years ago. Maps of Christchurch nowadays are very bittersweet to see – all the streets are now empty of so many landmarks.
