It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). “WEST ME!!” This time in 2007, I was just returning from studying abroad in Spain and graduated college. Now things couldn’t be any more different…I got married this past June and we bought our first house in November of 2009!

My world has changed a lot since 2007. For most of 2007 I was a single girl living in my mother’s house. I met my future husband almost exactly 4 years ago (Sept 22nd, 2007). Shortly after that I bought a house and got a new job. Since then I got married and have been focusing on conquering all of my house’s little ‘rut-rohs’ and tackling lots of DIY projects. I stumbled on your blog a little over a year ago, and I have to say it’s given me the courage to tackle all of the little and big house/decorating projects that come in my direction. Congrats on 4 years! You guys are truly an inspiration!
