It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). So let’s just say that we’ll be mighty jealous of the person who wins this week’s FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR gift card there (four year blogiversaries are for big prizes, after all). Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). WEST ME! In 2007 we each had our own apartments, now we own our own house. I had a job I hated, now I have one I love. I was still in my 20’s, I was 28 and 30 seemed like it was so far ahead now it seems so long ago. I also cut six inches off my hair this year, I have had the same hairstyle since the 7th grade. It seemed like a major change at the time, now I wonder why I waited so long. Oh and in 2007 I didn’t blog nor did I read any blogs. Life is so much better in 2011!

I had 2 kids then, and now I have 3. We’ve moved 2x since then (including moving w/ a 6 week old, who was later 11 months old when we moved the 2nd time in that period).
Hubby got a PhD added to his name, so it was worth it.
