It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). So let’s just say that we’ll be mighty jealous of the person who wins this week’s FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR gift card there (four year blogiversaries are for big prizes, after all). Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). Let’s see…in 2007 I was married to someone who wasn’t right, worked in an office and rented a house from my aunt.
Now, in 2011, I’m in a different relationship with the man who’s perfect for me and I’m the big (wo)man in charge of a local restaurant! I also have my own home now and the mister and I are just starting to dip our toes in the home improvement area of DIY :)

4 years ago I graduated college, moved with my now husband(then we were shacking up in sin) moved from Asheville to Raleigh. New jobs for both of us, bought a new house, got engaged and then got hitched. Then a layoff, followed by a move back to Asheville with better jobs for both of us. It’s been crazy busy but good.
