It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). The biggest change is that four years ago I was married, and now I’m not! Even though the process of getting divorced suuuuuuucked, I’m much happier and more fulfilled now than I ever was, and I wouldn’t go back there for all the tea in China.

WEST ME! In 2007, we had just finished adding on a master bedroom and bath. But we weren’t done! We have since opened up walls, refaced a fireplace, widened and tiled our front stoop, ripped out a grass yard and replaced it with plants native to California and created a kid cave. We’ve been busy!
