It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). So let’s just say that we’ll be mighty jealous of the person who wins this week’s FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR gift card there (four year blogiversaries are for big prizes, after all). Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). WEST ME! In 2007, I had lived in NC for one year in my first home. Now, my family (husband, 10 month old son, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 rabbits) are moving to St Louis (for my husbands job). Oh man…in 2007, I was working at Google (which I left in 2008 – I’ve since worked at Pixar and a recording studio and been unemployed, and have already been at my new job for a year!). I was living by myself in my first ever apartment all on my own. My boyfriend and I had been together for two years…and now we’re engaged and living on the first floor of a 1907 Craftsman house that is in serious need of some sweet, sweet, West Elm loving!
