Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). Well, what hasn’t changed since 2007…. In 2007 I was in my first year of law school. 2009 brought law school graduation, and marriage (finally) to my high school sweetheart. 2009 and 2010 brought the 2 of us moving 3 times, at one point 1000 miles apart due to jobs. 2011 brought us back together, moving to a brand new (to us) city and shopping for a new house (that will need decorating!). And January 2012 will bring our first baby.

Time flies: In 2007 I graduated from high school and moved just outside of Chicago to go to college. Since I pierced my lip, my hair has been 3 different colors and dozens of shades in between, I got married, switched from a pre-med major to a philosophy major, graduated college with honors, I just started a new job, my husband and I have an offer on a house and all in all life is good.
