wow- what isn’t different since 2007? 2 kids, moved across the country, adjusted to not living in the South for the first time, bought a new house, said goodbye to my husky, got bangs, bought rain boots, went to pastry school….oh and it;s hard to believe, but in 2007 I had never read a blog. Life is VERY different now. In 2007 I was living in Alaska. I owned my own business (scooping dog poop!) with my then husband. Fast forward to 2011- I am newly married to a wonderful man, live in Sacramento, and teach at an elementary school!

In the past 4 years my friend became my boyfriend and then my husband! We moved into a house that we bought together after our wedding.
