Four years ago, I was a one and done mom who had just moved to the south from New England. Now I am a parent of an almost two year old baby girl, and I just moved into another new house to accommodate her as well as my lovely hubby working from home. Life has only gotten better in the past four years!

My life is a LOT different than it was in 2007. In 2007, I was in a brand-spankin’ new relationship, my family had moved to Maryland (I was still in Rhode Island), and I graduated college. Now my brand-spankin’ new relationship is almost a five year one (and we’ve done over 4 years of it long-distance), I’m in MD with my family, and I just started my fifth year of teaching. PHEW!

Let me count the ways that my life is different since 2007. I lost my dear father to cancer in 2007 so I was pretty much at bottom.
Since then I have left an unhappy marriage, become a Registered Nurse and am 8 months from earning my Master’s degree. I’m also thrilled to say that I’m about to enter a HAPPY marriage on October 15! :-)
Still missing my dad but I think he’s watching over me and happy that things are looking up!

In 2007, I graduated high school started working at a daycare, and started dating my high school crush. Now, I’m engaged to said high school crush, we have an amazing two year old son named Oliver, a bratty (yet lovable) dog named Jasmine, and most recently – two kittens we rescued named Salem and Severus (yes, they’re black kitties, and yes I love Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Harry Potter :P) I think the kittens sent me into a nesting spree, since a week after we rescued them we got rid of a ton of our JUNK and started (FINALLY) decorating our home).

Nowadays, our lives are even busier, but our juggling skills have improved immensely (oh yeah, and the decor is much better too).
Maui doesn’t exactly have Z Gallerie’s or West Elm’s, so here’s to crossing our fingers in hopes of giving my wife some much needed online retail therapy!

Four years ago we had two doggies that have since gone to doggie heaven. We now have a crazy boxer who bring smiles to our lives. My son was just starting High School & he is now a High School Senior. We were talking about celebrating our 25th Anniversary four years ago and this past July we did celebrate with a DIY Vow Renewal in our back yard!
