WEST ME!!!! Almost everything in my life is different than it was in 2007! I moved halfway across the country, adopted a doggie, met the man of my dreams (and married him!), moved into a new home, graduated from college, and started teaching!

In 4 years I’ve moved twice (finally now own my one home!), now live with my boyfriend, have a dog (Hamlet the Boston Terrier), my oldest brother has had two children and my other brother has gotten married, my dad has moved out of state, and I’ve gotten a new job. Whew!

4 years ago, we had just moved to our Cape Cod duty station (my husband is an active duty Coast Guardsman.) We had two cats, two dogs, and two teens. Fast forward to now, and I am waiting for my packers to come (later this week) and take us to the next chapter: teens are off in college or out of college; we’re down to one geriatric dog, and we have a big new (to us!!) house waiting in Los Angeles, the next duty station for my husband. I’d love to use the gift card towards that new home! My husband has been in the service for 25 years, and so far, we love it – and getting to “start over” with a blank palette every few years is actually part of the fun for me, even if it is on orders from Uncle Sam!!

2007- I had a 4 yr old and 6 yr old (now 8 and 10–HUGE difference in parenting these lovelies!) I was working part time (now stay home and homeschool one and the other is in private school.) We didn’t have a dog (now we have Lola, the basset hound.) Husband has switched jobs and makes more money and has more vacation time. Lots of changes and ALL of them GOOD!!!
