I think a better question is what HASN’T changed in 4 years? At this time in 2007, I was still working on my undergrad, living on campus at JMU as an RA, and not sure what to do with my future.
Now, I am finally graduated, living with my boyfriend here in Harrisonburg VA, miraculously landed a kick-ass job in this horrible economy, and am now paying back those hefty student loans.
We’re moving to a new place in about a month, so this would be awesome to win!

4 years ago we had just one child and had no idea that the next four years would bring the blessing of a baby, selling our house and building to selling THAT house before it was finished, to moving twice while we try to find the next address fit for us … job changes, etc etc. We’ve been on a ride!

4 Years, 5 Moves, and 1 Additional Furbaby later my husband and I find ourselves working harder than ever, but finally learning it’s important to (attempt) to play equally as hard.
Our last move was only 2 months ago and we’re still desperately juggling the process of making our 800 square foot condo feel ‘us’ (glam/eclectic/industrial) while still being functional for having 2 home based businesses (read: 2 separate work areas to avoid clawing each other’s eyes out… err.. distraction) and 2 big dorky dogs.
We LOVE your blog (it’s a read on the iPad in bed first thing in the morning routine). Hope to see you on here 4 years from now!

My life was completely different four years ago. I had graduated college a year early and was still visiting my friends who were there, and had just started my first “big girl” job in Chicago. Since then I broke up with a long term boyfriend, married a Englishman after less than a year of knowing each other (2 year anni in a month!), and moved to London -though I still maintain residence in the U.S. as well.

Four years ago I was in my sophomore year of high school! I had dreams of traveling abroad (still do, just not for a living!) and getting my license. Fastforward four years, and I am in my sophomore year of college (license included). I just moved in with my boyfriend and our dog, Macy, over the summer, as we prepare to finish our last years of college and start our lives together. Since I have champagne taste on a beer budget, this gift card would tremendously help me decorate our new rental house to make it more of a home for us.

It’s fitting that I love this blog so much, since 4 years ago we moved into our current house, which has been a work-in-remodel process since day one. Add to that our first baby and another on the way, and I would say our life is much fuller (read: blessed) than in 2007!
