It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). So let’s just say that we’ll be mighty jealous of the person who wins this week’s FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR gift card there (four year blogiversaries are for big prizes, after all). Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). In 2007 I was entering my last year of college (the best year of school, by far). I was almost engaged and very restless. Now I married my sweetheart, moved with him to Texas from Indiana, cut off all my hair, bought my first car, and adopted the-best-of-all-cats.

For me, everything has changed since 2007. My hair, my body, my tattoos [well, those haven’t really changed, more like added more], my style… My life in general. A good bit of it’s been for the better too!

So much has changed for me since 2007. I became a mom…twice :) We also moved from Oklahoma to Wyoming to South Dakota and I went from being a career woman to a stay at home mom and now back to a career woman again. Unfortunately, most of my home furnishings haven’t changed much since 2007, so I could definitely use this West Elm gift card!

My life is very different. In July 07 I gave birth to our second baby in 16 months, little did I know I would have our third baby in 3 years two years later. We are so thankful, but life is busy. We now have a five year old who just started kindergarten, a four year old who is in pre-k and a two year old who is miss independent. Life is crazy, but good.
