Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). 4 years ago we’d just adopted our first child, a baby girl. The birthmother changed her mind and then two weeks later changed it back. Our world was rocked from top to bottom. We are so happy that baby girl is now 4 years old and thriving. Along with her adopted 3 yr old brother and surprise baby brother who is now 1. Having 3 babes in 3 years is pretty darn amazing…and BUSY!!!!! 4 years ago we were moving into a new house with lots of anticipation and hope. The house turned out to not be for us (it was 90 years old and while charming (Arts & Crafts style), we really wanted modern conveniences and less urgent projects. So we sold it this summer (in 1 day!) and bought a new house that better met our needs. We settled on it last Thursday. I’ve been using YHL for paint inspiration, stackable washer/dryer info, etc.
