In 2007, my family and I left Ohio to move to Austin, Texas. I had ONLY ever lived in Ohio, so this was a huge change. Since then, we have become “Texas-fied.” Our son “yes ma’ams” and “no sirs.” I saw “Bless your heart.” Texas has become our home. And with the recent Emmy win for Friday Night Lights, I can honestly say that we are living in “Texas Forever!” :)

Such a long list of changes since 2007. My kids are both in school now, so my days are very different. I also quit my job earlier this year and started a consulting practice. I work out of my home 100% which means I can be here when the school bus drops the kiddos off at 3pm. We moved a year ago and are still trying to figure out what to do with a funky house that’s considerably smaller than our old one. That’s just the tip of the iceberg with regard to changes, but it’s ALL good!
