***Uh oh – looks like we like we hit capacity on this post with over 10,000 comments! But this giveaway is closed anyways, so I guess it’s okay.***
It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). So let’s just say that we’ll be mighty jealous of the person who wins this week’s FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR gift card there (four year blogiversaries are for big prizes, after all). And not that you asked, but if you need any help picking out what to buy – might we suggest some of these lurvely items below (Sherry had trouble picking just six things, so we added an extra row and went with nine):

Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). Front & Main actually officially launches next week, but they’re giving all of us a sneak peek today. Oh and if you scroll down a bit while you’re there, you might recognize some familiar faces…
- PRIZE: A $500 gift card to West Elm (!!)
- TO ENTER: Comment on THIS OTHER POST with the words “WEST ME” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: …since we’re celebrating starting our blog four years ago, tell us how your world is different than it was in 2007. Do you live in a new place? Have a new job? Are you in a new relationship? Or maybe you just have a new hairdo or tattoo?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, September 21st at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We weren’t paid or perked for hosting this giveaway, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of West Elm.

Since 2007 . . . we have lived in our “new” house 4 years (we moved in Jan of 2006, so 5 years total), our kids have grown by leaps and bounds and we’ve added a “bonus” kiddo to our family. :) We’ve started home schooling. We’ve settled into our “new” town and have made scores of fantastic friends. Those are the good changes. :)

Since 2007 I’ve moved to the home where I feel that I’ve finally grown up. I adopted a dog, lived with a crazy roommate, and realized what I want to do, and who I want to be with. I’ve also really honed in on my decorating style, and taught myself to refinish furniture, all in this apartment!

My husband and I got married 4 years ago in 2007 too! So we have been learning our decorating style together over the past few years and have definitely noticed a recent change. We also have started a photography business on the side out of our home so we would love to spruce things for when we have clients meet at our home.

I love West Elm! I wish I had something new in my life between 2007 and now, but I don’t. Same place, same cat, same date-less, spouseless life, same haircut. If I’m honest I have a few new pounds around the middle…but what I really don’t have and really wish I did is a new West Elm headboard!!

Four years ago, I gave birth to my second son in January, moved cross country in June into a temporary apartment, then moved into a house again in Jan of ’08. Whew, I’m tired just remembering it!
Dara says
WEST ME….since 2007, we moved so Hubby could go to grad school, so we had to sell our first house/home and store all of our items that wouldn’t fit into a small apartment. We quit our comfortable jobs and away from family. He has now since graduated and we have moved to a new place that is much bigger, although we still don’t own another house yet. We are trying for a baby (wish us good luck) and have a new puppy that makes our hearts melt. We have changed drastically!! congrats on having your blog for 4 years. I know they are hard to keep up. It is amazing that you were able to make it in to a real job!
