It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). So let’s just say that we’ll be mighty jealous of the person who wins this week’s FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR gift card there (four year blogiversaries are for big prizes, after all). Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). In 2007 I had just moved to a new area and started a new job. We’re still in the same area and I still have the same job, but since then, my husband and I have moved to a new house, said goodbye to my mom (she passed away in 2010), and said hello to our beautiful baby girl who is now 10 months old!

EVERYTHING has changed since 2007. I graduated college, got a big girl job, and now live with boyfriend and our dog. We are trying to slowly but surely fix up our rental house, but it is a very time consuming and difficult process for people who work full time!
