Since 2007 I have gotten engaged and since married, graduated with my Masters to be a Physician Assistant and survived a 3 year long distance relationship with the hub! We’ve been living together in Chicago for almost 5 months now and life is grand. I’m still working on getting our place to feel like home!

So much is different! Four years ago I had just moved and started a new job. This month I moved again and started another new job. Plus a new significant other, and a new pet. I am also one step closer to finishing my PhD!

I left my old job in 2007 and my husband launched into the freelance world and now works from home. This is the most time we have ever been able to spend together as a family and life is good.

Let’s see…2007 I graduated from college. Moved to Alaska to work for the summer….met my future-husband the next weekend….married 1 1/2 years later and now we live in Hawaii! Two deployments under our belts and over 2 1/2 years of marriage. Life is good :)

Four years ago life was a lot different than it is now…I was in school, my dad was still here (but his cancer diagnosis was fast approaching), my husband (bf at the time) didn’t know that his kidneys were failing and that 2 years later he’d receive a kidney from his sister…but four years later we are all healthy and well. Married with an amazing daughter and tackling home improvement projects in our very first house :)

My life is very different from four years ago. Other than the fact that I didn’t read your blog daily four years ago and now I can’t live with out it… Four years ago I had just gotten married and we were living in a little bity 800 sq ft condo. We just recently bought our first house (2200 sq feet) and right now we are working on decorating it and starting a family!
And I just thought you might want to know, I’m an interior designer and your blog gives me inspiration everyday! You guys are so creative!!!
